I tried starcraft before, it runs fine on Medium. As for other RTS, I'm not completely sure.

SupCom 2 can run on medium 1024x768 and texture and decals on high, and SupCom1, since it was made for PC, is harder to run. Playable on Medium but can get laggy. Hope this helped.

I've got a Dell Studio 1557:

1080p screen

320Gb (7200 rpm) Hard Drive

ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4570 512MB

Core i7 1.6 ghz (Turbo Booster)

I can play dead space with everything maxed out and 1080p resolution with 25-30 fps. I'm very happy with my laptop but the only major issue about it is that the grafics card can reach up to 100C and once it reaches 100C, it underclocks so it won't overheat. But if you have a laptop cooler, you should have no problem :D

I just want a laptop that can run games decently and the one im looking at getting can do just that. Not to mention if it has the power to run games then it definitely has the power to do what i ned it to for school.

Have you done a fallout 2+3 test with this laptop, I found it on newegg and was considering to buy it since it looked like a good deal. I don't play much shit, but those games I would like to play along with the orange box games.

You should not have any problems with the orange box games, considering they use the Steam Engine. Fallout 3 should run fine. Maybe not 60+ FPS fine but should run quite well.
