If you say hockey is tougher because you have a puck flyin around at 100mph,then you are just as tough as tennis. It's true sometimes you cant compare hits in hockey vs football, different styles of hits, so we have different arguments,so lets put it in different context. street fight. NHL's best againts NFL's best. I got Mario Williams. 6'7", 291lbs (with barely any body fat) runs a 4.7 40yd dash, put up 225lbs on the bench 35 times. Who do you got. kids with no athletic ability got to play in my high which waas D1 and a good team too, I played footballll in fall and hockey in winter, love both sports but, I U have to be in way better shape for hockey, in football i was starting fullback and yes you do get contact on every play, but there both rough sports, from experience and seeing it hockey players overall are tougher

haha look in high school if your playing for a division 1 school and you never played hockey and tried out, 100% u would never even make JV, in football, you got these fat slops who the football coach sees around the school and tells them to come play, and sticks on them on the fuckin line. There is no way in hell that football players are better athletes than hockey players. Football= wistle every 10 seconds, hockey= u skate your ass off for your shift, usually ththe whistle doesnt blow.

The hit count doesn't matter. It's the force of the hit and the damage received during a hit. How many NFL players whine and complain about what the NHL would consider a minor injury? NO sport has the heart and grit of hockey. No North American sport, anyhow.
