Say what you want. The reason Ol Miss has a bad record is because of the players. Coach O is a proven winner (Miami, Syracuse, USC) who has recruited and sent many players to the NFL. (Warren Sapp and Dwight Freeney being two he either coached or Recruited to coach) If decent players wanted to go to Ol Miss, then Ol Miss would be good.

O is a quality line coach and a super recruiter, but he really was a total flop as a head coach.

He does have a proven track record coaching up defensive lines though. He coached Cortez Kennedy at Miami along with some other really good players and some really good lines at USC
