Quality seems horrid really :S the zombies disappear almost instantly and the texture's also aren't spectacular. Fraps. Although a lot of people use the in game recording method from the console. I have just used Fraps for a long time so I'm used to it and I know it works the way I want it to. You can get an evaluation version for free, but you can buy it online as well. My advice to you would be to learn how to use the console recording and save your money.

as you can tell from the start of the rending stall and then the bodies disappearing, his gaming rig isn't up to par with Left for Dead 2, or it might be and when he records the footage his computer can't keep up with the extra baggage

In the Australian release of this game, the dead bodies disappear when they hit the ground. I don't know why that's happening in my game (As I'm in Canada), but I can assure you it's not my rig.

The rendering stall at the start of the level is a glitch that has been around since L4D1, and happens because multi-core rendering is enabled. However I'll live with it, as enabling multi-core rendering boosts my FPS during the actual gameplay.
