Painting Windows for v8factor ( Photoshop 7 only )

Hi Funky. Loved the video and its helped me no end, but at 4:00 onwards, you sat about ctrl clicking the layer as a selection. I am a new user of any photoshop and i have cs5 (i am trying to skin a megane in rFactor). Have you any way of telling me how to do this in cs5 as i have looked on the net and cant find a straight answer. Thats the only part of your video i cant do. I have saved the file as a working skin in rFactor, but the text/numbers on the glass is too transparent. Thanks

P.S is there anyway to paint a part on a car (say the wing on a v8supercar) inviable so you can see it?

In CS2 to load the layers, you control click on the thumbnail in the layer box

It looks like you started with an existing dds window file. Grab the window 'template' from the RSC forum which has layered Names and numbers already there? Otherwise great tut,

yes i did start with the dds vs the template as most people seem to have issues with combing the layers correct when saving the dds.. after having to fix them many time in the league packs that i have compiled i decide to get people to do it this way as it is less confusing for those who are not familar with alpha layers and photoshop...
