Oh wow, the economizer is just insane with how useful it is; I had no idea that it even existed, let alone know how good it is. This video was somehow really enjoyable, seeing that nothing really happened.

CURSES! Someone found out about my super secret grinding spot! I never thought of using thunder shields on the Hoovers, to be honest, mostly because I never knew of the multiple effects of the shield. I always waited around and casted Doom on them, since they're susceptible to it.

@SuperPaperNess The Thunder Shield is just amazing. I mean absorbing Lightning, nullifying Wind, halving Fire and Ice damage and NO nasty side effects like the Flame Shield's water weakness. Oh and great defence to boot. You can actually bet them in the Colosseum to get Genji Shields but I usually end up holding onto them because they've got so much more than just good defence.

Oh yeah I really should have mentioned that it doesn't like instant death.

@RockPaperMario It's really surprising to have a shield that just seems like it's a plain ol' shield that you compare to the fire and ice shields at first, but then it turns out that it stands out from the rest by far. It's just a wonder of life.

What I've noticed a lot in this LP is all the nice exchanges of information that's going on. We're like the Blues Brothers, except with Final Fantasy. Or that could not make any sense, your call.

@RockPaperMario You can say that again! It's quite nice to have something that you can actually talk about somewhat in length.

Oh, so its like the Celestial weapons of FFX.

If there would have been a random power outage when you got the economizer and you lost it, I would have laughed. And so would many others.

But where is a good place to grind for levels? I'm SO underlevelled...

@Ecofonin Well it's very possible to do this part of the game at a lower level than I'm at - in fact I'm not usually at so high a level at all - so I shouldn't worry too much if I were you. If you want to level grind though, the best place is most probably that area of forest where you run into the Tyrannosaurs. And you can use the Exp. Egg of course to make things go a little faster.

So wait... If you bet the pearl lance you get a strato? Can't you bet that strato again to steal another economizer? And get like infinite many? xD
