  • There's an Arizonan that digs em too..saw them in Tucson several years ago and still i'm impressed...gotta love em'

  • Obvi im Canadian, as my name suggests, but, Canada isnt that awesome, we also have Justin Bieber ... Just be happy we have the Hip.

  • @CaNaDaPowNs20

    nova scotia???

  • OK people, we get it. The HIP are from Canada. So what? Is their nationality that important? I find their poetry and music to be universal in its theme and relevant to all people of all countries. No?

The HIP could be from Mars and they would still kick ass.

  • @BibbsMcgibbs True, you do make a good point. With most of the music that comes from the U.S. and U.K. and other various parts of the world, it makes us Canadians proud that the HIP are from Canada. I guess it's kinda hard to understand until you become a Canadian yourself. Peace out from your neighbour north of the border. :)

  • @StreetDriftRacer We also have Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Niel Young, Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson, Rush, April Wine... for starters. The first three names alone are an embarrassment of riches for the songwriting community of any nation, let alone one with our tiny population. It's sometimes said that Canadians are too self conscious, when I read all the crowing about this great Country of ours on you tube videos with Canadian artists I feel that something has changed, and not for the better.

  • @chickenlampbrent Stan Rodgers needs a mention :)

  • @shineything Ha ha! I thought about that later in my car, and Stompin' Tom Connors!

  • love these guys!!1

  • the strong are always the darkest ones.....

  • Should make a tribute to The Big Bang Theory with this song lol :)

  • There ain't better music than this!! Tragically hip rocks!! We Canadians honor them.

  • @DarkNeckrowSilence I think you meant that we Canadians honoUr them :)

  • @happiergilmour You said it!

  • @happiergilmour Hahaha BEAT ME TO IT! Bwhahahahah

  • i cant get enough.love the hip

  • if you are canadian and you dont like the tragically hip you have no soul

  • @0Pax1Man2Ham3 it's true

  • @0Pax1Man2Ham3 Those Canadians are Justin Bieber fans...

  • @doubleder The Hip, Gordon Lightfoot, Silversun Pickups, Alexisonfire, Cancer Bats, Cryptopsy, City and Colour..... Canada has tons of amazing contributions. Bieber is a fad, it's not even worth getting mad over him.

  • @WastingElectricity cancer bats, alexisonfire, and the hip FTW :)

  • @ilovechickenskins Yeah, I've seen them all live :D And they all played amazingly

  • @0Pax1Man2Ham3 gingers...

  • silver jet is awesome I love that song and album.....

  • 'Silver Jet' is another great tune from 'In Violet Light.' And the World Container album rocks ever so nicely. I love that album! This is classic Tragically Hip in this song 'The Darkest One.' Gordon and the boys jammin' and rocking to everyone's delight!

  • Love this song! Lost touch with the Hip's music after Trouble at the Henhouse, but I've really enjoyed what I've heard off of In Violet Light and World Container. Thanks for posting!

  • WTF?!?1?!?!?!
