@ThomasArmageddon If I'm not mistaken, he started singing before the time he was supposed to, so the track he was listening didn't play his vocals and he noticed he started too early. That's what I think, at least.

So why is it in the context of metal, when somebody mentions "operatic vocals" they always say "Bruce Dickinson" and rarely ever mention Hansi? Hansi is at least 1000x closer to a truly operatic vocal than Bruce is (not to say Dickinson is a bad vocalist or anything but, there's not really anything operatic about Dickinson's vocals).

Ok I'll just come out and say it... why do these guys record in english? Even though I couln't understand it (yet) hearing Hansi sing in german would be really fucking cool and would tie in nicely with the sort of germanic/scandanavian vibe their songs give off.

He can scream as a raging god, but that's not what the crowd or the band need from him to do.

Touring is the hardest thing that great musicians have to face on their careers... If he doesn't preserve his voice by singing clean, his voice will crack soon.

There can be also the possibility that Hansi was ill, which also happens and is a hard problem to solve while touring...

Dudes I've been studying Blind Guardian for 6 Years....I play lead guitar...something like Andre but with a Washburn....I can tell you right now....this album will be far Greater than A Twist in the Myth...and from Night at the Opera...it will be more like Somewhere Far and Imaginations but with more Nightfall taste of music....If you understand I just told you this may be The best album even more than Nightfall,sadly we won't listen to some Thomen drumm style which suited best such songs.......
