I hate games where you have to press buttons to continue the conversation. I mean, games like SW: KoTOR are forgiven, there's reason for it. But this? It's just fucking boring.

You know after Jiraiya dies, it is so stretched out you have to go through four loading screens just to watch FIVE cutscenes of Naruto staring at shit?

@KageShinobiWarrior Back in my day, we didn't even have voice work! We had to rely on the talents of guys like Nate Bihldorff and Ted Woolsey to write narrative prose to get us through our in-game text. We HAD to press buttons to continue dialogue, because we had to read them!

wow you and another user are like the only ones who use the English dub. even one else uses Japanese dub for some strange reason. to be if you buy a game in English it would only make sense to use the English dub.

@AoiYukinoMisharu My favorites among Shonen Jump are the ones in One Piece and Hunter x Hunter, but Naruto's battle scenes are pretty nice too. In all three series, they make creative uses of their powers.

I'm surprised they didn't have you play as Chiyo for this fight, considering the lengthy (kind of emotional?) moment just before the fight.

...wait that last screen said 100% health but I could have sworn you took some damage. Do some splicing or...?

@snowyarticuno Wow, you're right. Sasori helped maintain Deidara's verbal tic when he noticed Deidara forgot it.

Sakura pulled much of the weight in the fight in the manga and anime, which is why Sakura was chosen as the playable character here rather than Chiyo, I'd bet.

I gain some health each time I correctly put in a quick time event (the button cues during the cutscenes). Sakura lost less health than is gained back in these cutscenes, putting her at 100% health by the end.

Another thing that they didn't mention was how DANGEROUS the poison Sasori used. In the manga/anime, Kankuro was poisoned when he tried to get Garra back. Sakura had to make an antidote to the poison. There was enough for three batches and she saved the remaining two for just in case they fought Sasori.
