@mike0n0jake0inc the first year he was the coach he almost beat carr. he was up by 14 or something with 8 minutes left to go. and that was in a transition year where we had bad players. dont get me wrong carr was a great coach with a good football strategy much better than rich rod. but whats also funny is how Michigan was a great program and rich rod took it down. but msu was a bad football team and in john l smith's first year he was 8-4 ... it just dosent make sense. its gonna happen to nd.
