VHS sets can be considered valuable depending on how it was released, when etc. This is obviously one of more collectable ones because of how great the film is and how cool the pack-in is.

But in general, VHS isn't considered really valuable because of how mass-produced they were compared to laserdisc, betamax etc. It'd be like wondering if in 20 years, The Terminator on DVD is valuable.

I paid around 300 SEK (swedish crowns) (including shipping costs). I'd say some VHS sets are still considered collectable but it's mainly for collectors. I mean for the public in general VHS sets don't hold any real value today.
