I'm planning my next trip to the mountains too....The Pacific NorthWest, Glacier to be exact. I don't ski anymore....bad back from an auto accident in the MiddleEast. However I love to hike a little and photo shoot the wildife. It's gorgeous there. You must come see it one day.

These things reported by you are true, however most of the laid off construction workers are Hispanics who came here and had babies here for a citizenship ticket. Out tax money pays for the birthing, WIC, food stamps and housing allotment. They just scavenge and steal anything they can anyway.....they have brought drugs, prostitution (more of it) gangs, more crime, rapes, more robberies...and are taking menial jobs that are much needed now by poorer Americans in order to feed their families.

Well, I do agree with you on some things. It definately was more wonderful and less stressful living in many other countries. Yes, acutally, I lived with Arabs in the MiddleEast. It was heaven. It's true. less crime, people took care of one another....however they tortured their animals. So sad to watch. I don't understand though why you think we caused all the worlds poverty and started wars. The U.S. is greedy, arrogant, but did not cause others poverty. They only helped the underdog in wars.

Perhaps you should check out the book called "Lords of Poverty" by Graham Hancock, which describes how it was us government policy since the 1950s to keep many 3rd world countries poor, destitute and in debt to the usa to keep the commodities used by us corporations cheap, as well as ensuring us involvement in large capital projects like building dams... all for the greater good of the usa by tying countries to us dollar debt!
