  • is beautiful! =)

  • I had that. I remember it was a bitch to put togeather.

  • how do you take off the huge missiles? mine are really stuck on the racks and I'm afraid I'll break something if I manhandle them.

  • Mine makes that same squealing noise when the tires are moved lol

  • wow toys back then were awesome

  • I had this as a kid and loved the hell out of it. Of course it was the two larger missiles that really pushed it over the top for me. Ran all over the neighborhood with those. LOL. I'm surprised about the price though, I went and checked out a collector site that lists the original retail price and even back then it said it was on sale for around 25 dollars. That seems like one hell of a bargain for such a large and well made toy. Damn I miss the 80's.

  • This is an awsome vehicle. But where would the engine be at. The missile takes up so much space.

  • How great is this vehicle? Absolutely awesome indeed. That said, I've got a spare one of these complete, but a bit dusty from storage. Looking to trade it for some newer Joe stuff or Marvel Universe figures if anyone's interested. Great review Matlock!

  • Thanks for the review. This is one of the most awesome GI Joe toys ever. I have this brand new in the box and I am thinking about selling it. Do you know how hard it was to not open up for almost a quarter century?

How much do you think it's worth mint NIB? You can shoot me an offer: jonrwhite5 @ yahoo . com

  • I think those big missiles are atomic bombs. MY GOD! Rolling Thunder is a fan favorite. If they would have fired thos atomic missiles the show would have been over.

  • If Cobra ever saw this thing in the distance, 100 buck says it was an instant retreat.

  • Love that huge cannon. Great Vehicle

  • i remember getting rolling thunder and a cobra plane forget the name black raven or something was about the same size as rolling thunder for x mas when i was a kid still to this day is one of the best days of my life and im 29 lol.i could nt believe my eyes when i opened the gifts and seen them all my friends and neighbours were jealous as.if you had rolling thunder you were a elite kid on the block

  • Mine has been with me since i got it and its complete. This one and the Mean Dog, Raider are my favorite vehicles. Maybe someday ill do a review.

  • this and the G.I Joe general, my two all time favorite toys EVER, wow, i'm not sure if i want to watch this whole video as i will be begging and praying to go back to my childhood.

  • I still have mine, but the missiles are broken, but I still have all of the pieces.

  • I don't care how many H.I.S.S. tanks and S.T.U.N.s you have in the living room using the couch as an HQ... once your step-brother rolls this out on the carpet, it spells "Turning Point."

  • I Think cobra commander can say, seeing this vehicule: RETREAT RETREAT ! ! !

  • I have mine in the closet. its a awsome vehicle. but i always questioned when in missile launcing mode. WHERE IS THE ENGINE. Thay should a little more effort on that. Still an awsome vehicle. Hope you review the Mean Dog and Raider.

  • I have the Rolling Thunder. It's a pretty sick vehicle!

  • Believe it or not I drove a vehicle taht wasn't quite as loaded up as rolling thunder. We called it a Hemmet that damn thing could turn on a dime with two sets of front wheels I made that damn thing dance lmmfao.

  • That would be awesome!

  • @maxxxxsolo Ha! Also made by Hasbro...

  • that is wicked man!!!
