No offense, i'm pretty sure that a medium dice, not a paysanne. With that said i think it's easier to do horizontal cut then go vertical not the way you did it.

I went to culinary school but somewhere along the line they forgot to mention that a paysanne cut could even be made with an onion. To me that cut just looks like a very thin medium dice
