@Titan52berg I didn't invest nothing, Sir,. Those muvees were on the Titanicmovie 1996 website, and the game videos were found online as well, both playable with a bubble player.
I don't run ads cause obviously ownership isn't mine. Hey, I said "ship" :)
@deathhellknight I'm afraid you're incorrect...this is not the Britannic, but is, in fact, the Titanic. The Grand Staircase went down several decks, so what you see at 1:22 is the D-Deck staircase at the entrance to the Reception Room and First Class Dining Saloon. The statue you are referring to, which is adjacent to Honour and Glory Crowning Time, is on A-Deck.
@loCaGurL97 Haha well that is what you get, when you never figured a lot of people would watch this. When I released this video, nearly 5 years ago, I was daily on Stickam.
The guys at the end were the people I hung out with, and that was the lates epic footage recorded. In hindsight, maybe a weird spot to put, at the end of the Titanic video lol
WOW, how did he create this? Its such good graphics...it is so detailed its almost like you are there and much better than any Titanic Tour ive seen from any game!
@kenbooby I used 360 degrees panorama videos from the 1996 website, which depicted the actual set.. plus some other videos from a game also from that time. I used SNAG IT to capture them on my screen after using a special player to play them.
Nothing fancy, but thank you for your kind words :)
You can view these panorama files In blender, google sketchup, 3dmax and some others. For an example, go download google earth. The street view is panorama effects.
@DJMarioV8 The videos used in this film, I all downloaded on the web in 1997 - 1998. Also these game images. They were in the so called BUBBLE format.
This means, if you point the mouse in any direction, you could get a 360 degree panorama of the suite, lounge or whatever room you were in.
You'd need a special viewer to view these files in this manner.
Perico, Dude, go for it! Your fans and critics will be watching. Don"t worry about competition from the conquest of the South Pole. Thats Boring! Titanic"s fascinating ! Its all about class discrimination, super opulent wealth, colossal egos, stupid decisions and a big ass ship that has too small a rutter to safely steer it! In 1939 they didn"t stop making "Gone with the wind" just because it was up against "The wizard of oz" They both won Oscars. JUST DO IT!!
But that's just the point! Your video and narration are good enough for the discovery Channel. I agree with Britanichris. Simply do some research and you will have a first rate documentary on Titanic with your own unique style!
@sterlinggreg I feel humble you said this, really flattering. I know that in the past years I checked every fact in any video I released... just in this early case I spoke from memory or too hastily, cause I knew it had to be Edwardian yeah for instance.
An original (and perhaps controversial) documentary about the Titanic, especially since it will be a century ago soon, sounds like something worthwile to make. Or then it has to compete with the anniversary of the South Pole conquest.
You need to learn your Titanic history . You made several noticeable mistakes. There was no Rococo style furniture on the Titanic least of all the wicker in the reception rooms The first class cabins were not Victorian style but Edwardian style reflecting a return to classic English and French design. The Jacobean style 1st class dining room is not the ala carte restaurant. The ala carte restaurant was a separate dining room done in pink silk and French walnut in the Louis XVI style not shown
@sterlinggreg Ok I see you are a real student. Yeah I guess in a way this wasn't meant to be a historically accurate video with a lot of research, just some low profile work made in a few hours to fool some friends with.
I am grateful with all the views, yet I am of course no real Titanic buff who knows all, even if it has my interest and I have a Titanic boardgame and play RMS Titanic on the Commodore 64.
So yeah please don't take offense, I don't pretend to be the Discovery Channel :)
I am serious here Perico, go to BBC television in the UK and ask them to look at this video. I think you could have a future as a documentary host. Maybe you could make a more serious vid without the humour at the end (which I liked by the way) as they would take you as a more serious contender for hosting programs. You read it here first. Please make cheques payable to -----lol
@britanichris That is the nicest comment by far! :) Wow... haha well the BBC always was a role model yet then I do everything just the way I please.
Yeah that was the thing, when I uploaded this video lightyears ago, it wasn't supposed to be anything, just something to fool this friends in the end with. Now it may look like a very odd ending, wouldn't do it again..
And yeah you will get a thank you cheque if the BBC hires me, LOL.. wouldn't that be something.
@leatherface1217 Those were images from Tony Stockert's room on Stickam, I used to frequent at the time of making. Tony received a fun package one of the guys sent him thru mail and I recorded it off Stickam and promised to put it up.
And somehow I decided it was "wise" to put it behind my Titanic video.. hehehe.
@Lifegirl98 Get what exactly, Lifegirl? :) ... the video's? I gathered them all from the interwebbz back in 1996/1997, a lot from the official Titanicmovie site.
I never had any CDrom adventure or anything, just browsed websites and looked the video's up in the cache of the web browser. Most were in weird formats, like .bubble .
But in case your question was directed on something else.. please enlighten me :)
HA!!!! if thats the grand staircase, then there is something rong. there is ment to be a scapture of a naked boy with a towl or something like that rapped around him and he is holding a gold ball at the bottom of the staircase. yours has candle sticks.
@kittenbreth Nope, you're wrong. He didnt make a mistake. The Grand Staircase covers 6 decks. This is the fifth level on E or D Deck that opened into the dinning room. Below that was an unadorned stair leading to the Turkish Bath.
@kittenbreth actually there were two staircases the first one had the little boy with the clock behind it the second had the candles as seen in the movie titanic. The staircase with the statue of the little boy and the clock behind it were the originals from the wreckage and had been completely restored, thats why the clock and the statue were shown quite a bit in the movie
Was that called for? Being called weird isn't the worse thing ya know...It's not like he called your mother a whore. Some people might considering being different/ weird a compliment.
@lenerene Well, if you get comments all the time like "weird, creep, freak, die!" by the dozens, then you are more eager to once in a while throw something back.
So if the best thing anyone can say is "you are weird you know?", then in all good spirit I can call him a douchebag. Ok, maybe a bit harsh, but it's a contact sport, I know even people making death threats don't mean it. Just a tough guy's act.
@lenerene It's alrite, I accepted a long time ago that harsh comments are a reality on youtube, they don't get to me, even if I am always open for criticism and finding it very okay if people don't like what they see.
It doesn't bother me, but many talented girls that had fun and success on youtube quite the site, only for the hate comments from trolls. It's sad in a way, but then again, if you give the haters so much power.
@hedphunked The C deck was the middle class, and the D deck was lower first, with a large dining area, and I believe the Turkish Baths. E and F we're lower class, so you can't honestly believe they'd not have middle class rooms.
Ah ok, I thought you had the game and could navigate in it as you did in the video, but then that images don't belong to the playable game and aren't available. Thank you very much for your answer. :)
I have the original game "Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time" and I love it, but I cannot navigate inside it as you did in the video!!! I would like to know how can you move so in the game, please help me, I'm searching for the answer from years ago, since I saw the trailer videos about the game in the official website of the game. Thank you.
I downloaded the panoramic Titanic game videos already online in 1997. They were in the so called "Bubble" format.
I never played or owned the game, but you can manipulate the camera in those videos 360 degrees, like on the official Titanicmovie website, with all the rooms.
And I just grabbed that footage. So it is not from actual gameplay, hope this helps. I don't even have the specific player anymore.
At least some of it is. There were a few parts that I'm pretty positive weren't from Adventure out of Time, but I'm positive that the part where you go through the porthole is from the opening sequence.
I think it's a mixture of Titanic: Adventure Out of Time and this feature that was on the Titanic (movie) website, where it provided virtual views of the rooms. So a lot of it is the film set (dining saloon, etc).
I'm surprised they didn't make a Titanic hotel using pieces from the set. That Grand Staircase and some of the rooms look up to par with 5 star hotels.
I said from the set, off of the sets used in the Titanic movie, not the real one. Obviously that wouldn't be ethically sane. And on the case of living where people died. Nobody would live anywhere, or be anywhere. Someone has died in any given place.. at some point in time. Essentially people will live over Ground Zero, the workers that will be in the Freedom Tower.
I don't get it. Nothing in the description "virtual cruise on board with friends" explains that this is about the Titanic. Poor description. Thanks, though, looks like you went to a lot of work.
Please could you respond:) Can i ask where you got the first few panaoramic views of areas of the ship, i know the latter was taken from the 1996 game. Thanks:)
Yes, the Titanic did have the grand staircase. But telling the truth is the best of all. But staying around before our grandparents, is NOT true. I am a hater of psychics.
I also have that game "adventure out of time"...he used a LOT of footage from that game to make this video...but the last 30 seconds or so made it suck wood.
The room you called "A La Carte" is not the A La Carte restauraunt, that room is the first class dining saloon located on Salooon Deck D. The A La Carte restauraunt was located next to the Perisien Cafe on the bridge deck b.
Get your facts right before posting them on the internet.
i agree with bassdude4eva... the titanic sunk on the 15 April 1912 so unless u are about 120 yrs old (which i highly doubt) u were not on the titanic in the first place...u werent even born as it was 96 years ago
For this stunning piece of investigation, I hand you the leather Clever Clogs medal.
Congratulations, I am not the oldest person on earth. Yet if you watched the X-files, you saw young looking people that were born in the 19th century around.
i dont think they had colored video camras back then. And if they did why dident you move aroud?????And when you where out on the deck the ship was not moving and there would have been people!!
Thank you! I never thought this video would get so many views, it was just in my early days of YouTube to make up for the fact my camcorder was in repairs.
That's why I thought of the Titanic movies I saved back in 1996 already...

man20121251username3 2 years ago
Yes, the Titanic did have the grand staircase. But telling the truth is the best of all. But staying around before our grandparents, is NOT true. I am a hater of psychics.

The room you called "A La Carte" is not the A La Carte restauraunt, that room is the first class dining saloon located on Salooon Deck D. The A La Carte restauraunt was located next to the Perisien Cafe on the bridge deck b.
Get your facts right before posting them on the internet.

TigeressKitten101 3 years ago
Is it a game?
And what's the name of it?
Andro10058 3 years ago
see my answer below. Part of it is from an old game, Án Adventure Out Of Time. More than 10 years old.
Perico1973 3 years ago
what game is that ? :D
i must have it
carlso345 3 years ago
I cannot remember, I saved these internet movies already in 1996. So it is an old game, perhaps it was called Titanic, an adventure out of time.
This refers to the smoking room footage and the ship at night. But the majority of footage is from the Titanic movie website.
Perico1973 3 years ago
i agree with bassdude4eva... the titanic sunk on the 15 April 1912 so unless u are about 120 yrs old (which i highly doubt) u were not on the titanic in the first place...u werent even born as it was 96 years ago
wackowillie 3 years ago
For this stunning piece of investigation, I hand you the leather Clever Clogs medal.
Congratulations, I am not the oldest person on earth. Yet if you watched the X-files, you saw young looking people that were born in the 19th century around.
There is always a paranormal possibility as well!
Perico1973 3 years ago
i dont think they had colored video camras back then. And if they did why dident you move aroud?????And when you where out on the deck the ship was not moving and there would have been people!!
proudtohavediabetes 3 years ago
The tragic irony is, I think you are being deadly serious.
But then again, black and white film can be coloured in as well.
Perico1973 3 years ago
You worked on titanic?
I don't think so.
you don't seem like your 120 years old.

Thank you! I never thought this video would get so many views, it was just in my early days of YouTube to make up for the fact my camcorder was in repairs.
That's why I thought of the Titanic movies I saved back in 1996 already...

Perico1973 3 years ago
It's the 3D tour from James' Cameron's Titanic Explorer, a CD ROM that came out at the same time as the movie.
tribecatom 3 years ago
It's just I saved them from the Titanicmovie website, in 1996 already.. So I don't even have the CD.

zacefronlover66 3 years ago
No I most certainly am not making fun of the Titanic, I have always been fascinated with it.
This is just an old video from the first days of Youtube, to showcase the 360 panorama James Cameron interiors.. nothing less, or more.

This isn't Out of time. Out of time doesn't let you off the ship except at the very begining and end when you get off with the lifeboat.
