In manga volume 8, in his last fight with Anderson, his head is cleaved right off, yet he's still able to shoot and hit Anderson PERCISELY, even without a head. @HungryFellhound Unless I am missing something, I haven't seen Dante do half as much as Alucard has, Dante is still bad ass, but really when it comes into a competition of who is more bad ass and who is more powerful, Alucard is always going to come on top compared to Dante, and that's just how it is. People have to start reading the manga, Alucard does, and has, so much more than just regeneration, people think that's his main feat; it's not.

@fbiuzz@fbiuzz OVA doesn't follow manga exactly. Biggest fuckup in Ultimate was the first half of the Alucard vs Luke fight. Alucard didn't flash as a glint of light in OVA 3 as he did in manga. Alucard didn't crush the magic bullet in the manga where in OVA 4 he did. There are several notable non-canonical moments.

Also note that destroying Alucard's physical being doesn't do anything at all. You can rip apart his atoms, his protons, his quarks, you can destroy his smallest particle make-up to the point not a single remnant of his body exists in the world and he'll still instantly regenerate because Dante is not dealing any mental or spiritual damage.
@edwinsz as for that even if it's as shitty game dmc'2 majin form has actually destroyed in one hit a boss so in anime the actual transference would be to completely obliterate the opponent! @fbiuzz @fbiuzz OVA doesn't follow manga exactly. Biggest fuckup in Ultimate was the first half of the Alucard vs Luke fight. Alucard didn't flash as a glint of light in OVA 3 as he did in manga. Alucard didn't crush the magic bullet in the manga where in OVA 4 he did. There are several notable non-canonical moments.

Especially since Alucard could merely think himself into existence. How long can Dante hack away at Alucard before he get's tired? Alucard wouldn't even have to dodge. @lightspeedvenom Dante's Devil Trigger form has never been shown or implied to come close to destroying someone on the molecular level. Also note that destroying Alucard's physical being doesn't do anything at all. You can rip apart his atoms, his protons, his quarks, you can destroy his smallest particle make-up to the point not a single remnant of his body exists in the world and he'll still instantly regenerate because Dante is not dealing any mental or spiritual damage.
