  • We can start pumping once this water stops coming in! I remember Hurricane Rita we saw water steady rising into our homes for 9 consecutive days, then the water level stopped rising, but it stayed stationary for several more days because of east winds. It's hard to say what's gonna happen, but its been hours since I shot this video and the water is now almost up to 18 inches inside our house and its still rising and we lost power! I got my little girl out and I'm going back at first light...

  • wow that is a bummer can't you lay down a couple of sump pumps  maybe running off a portable generator seems like regular outlets would be too dangerous
