If Lina takes a small risk and puts a limit on the bucket capacity she uses for a Giga Slave, she can summon a second one, this time using all of her remaining bucket capacity. This time, Lina had to use all of her bucket capacity because she summoned loads of Dragon Slaves before. In the manga, Slayers Next, Lina summoned 2 Giga Slaves, a un-perfect one, that did little damage on Phibrizzo, then she used the perfected one. She then gave her life to LoN in exchange for Gourry's. Just saying :D.

In fact, all the fake sairaag where the end of next takes place is a part of Fibrizzo's body. And Lina ate a meal in this town so that absorbed a part of Fibrizzo. Inside this part of Fibrizzo interfered with Lina's will and explains. Thus Lina couldn't control the Giga Slave in Sairaag whereas she normally could. So she didn't die.

@Chonaire This is am explanation made in the 8th novel. All Sairaag was transformed in a part of Phibrizzo's body. in this tonwn, lina ate ameal and consequently a part of Phibrizzo who also can block the control of the Giga slave she used in the end of slayers next.

Hope they translate this spell properly in the English version of Evolution R and not use re use the original Anime version.... Like the dragon slave spell, I think ADV had the closest to a decent translation with the one they used in Slayers: Gorgeous.

I think the power of a Rah Tilt depends on the spiritual/magical power of the caster. You only have to compare Amelias and Rezos Tilt against Zellos.

And that is in my opinion the point. You can kill Shabranigdo with a Tilt but Shabranigdos spiritual&magical power is so far behind every mortal beeing that their Tilts are only mosquito bites for him.

The Rah Tilt IS as powerful as the Dragonslave, but it only affects beings with large astral bodies like mazoku as well as spirits and the like. Casting it on a human or an extremely powerful demon like Shabranigdo even when he is at 1/7th of his real strength would have little effect because a human has a very small astral body, and shabranigdo's is incredibly large.

And to answer your question, no matter how powerful, Gogeta is not only a temporary form but a mortal one. The Lord of Nightmares is God and Creator of all. So there is no contest, really.

Imagine taking LON's power is like water, it comes from a combination of Hydrogen and Oxygen (I know it's not, but let's pretend it's an even mixture, I know it's a flawed analagy). When they did the light/dark fusion in try, they basically made water, filled up a super soaker (The darkstar weapons) and fired away.

However, in comparison, while the light/dark fusion in try is like a squirt gun, LON's power is more like all the oceans times a infinity.

Only it seems if the Lord of Nightmares lets them. We saw the golden eye flash here, and at the end of Try we saw what may have been LON bringing Valgav back to life. The water God showed Lina what would happen if it went out of control, yet at the end of Next rather than destroy everything LON took control of Lina, and remember "My power is my mind" aspect of chaos magic's relation to LON.

Bring Valgaav back? I don't even think Lina calls the power of chaos; she uses the fusion of Lord Ruby Eye's and Cepheid's (spelling?) powers and the Dark Star weapons. Xellos says that all of that power became creation. It makes sense that the power of creation wouldn't have destroyed Valgaav; it just started him over. Just what I think, anyway. I could be wrong.

Ragna blade and giga slave are chaos spells as for LON is everything she cant be called nor good or evil but dragon slave however should have a counterpart in holy magic since it draws power out of shabragnigudu there should be a spell drawing magic out of the dragon lords left by cephied that matches a dragon salve

Absolutely nothing Luna is capable of doing is a counterpart to Laguna/Ragna Blade, and definitely not to Giga Slave. Luna wields Holy power on a level stated to make her about equivalent to Xellos, which means Luna most likely relates to Lina the way Xellos does in power terms in basically every way (more powerful across the board except that Lina and only Lina can call the power of the Lord of Nightmares).
