Well done. I was never a fan of the first opening theme-- as I always preferred the countdown and fast pace of the second one. However, that being said, you make the first title song work exceedingly well. The wobble of the J2 is clever and of course, fits with the show. Also, the simple but artsy background of space with strategically-placed, key elements that are moving adds to the visual enjoyment. It is a really good job.

This is dull as dishwater. Where are the animated characters floating about?  The spacesuits tied the actor's names to characters in the show!! Besides....in the Universe of Lost in Space, there are nothing but cosmic storms and meteor showers EVERYWHERE, not smooth sailing and pretty nebulae....

Does anyone remember the first episode or two? Before they left earth, Dr. Smith, Colonel, Army psychologist, was chewing out a lower ranking officer for some transgression & was NOTHING like the sniveling coward we saw later on. I didn't see this episode until I had already been watching the show for a few years & I remember being shocked - as a child - at seeing Dr. Smith portray this side of the character. Did anyone else see this?

Nice work, but some things were just meant to be seen in "glorious black and white!" A color rendering of Season 1 would likely not do justice or add anything to the original copy. Sorry, I vote no!

I dont wanna see the series with the old FX sequence removed in favor of new digital ones... I feel that undermines the original production.

I do, however, wanna see a fully restored high definition transfer. That'd be great. Sort of like what they've been doing in Japan to restore the old Godzilla movies

They were LOST where is the life lines tied to each other????? I loved this show. but where we lived we could only get CBS so I never got to know Star Trek. But I enjoyed hearing that Theme song!

I hear this intro and I'm transported back to my childhood home in the 60's with my 7 brothers ,all of us in that crowded house in Los Angeles looking at the Black and White set my Dad got us from Sears Roebuck. We use to watch this show like religion as well as "Combat" and "The Fugitive". How I miss those wonderful days and all the love and security our Mom and Dad gave us. Sweet sweet precious times that go bye so fast.

All of Season 1 of Lost In space should be colorized and Restored. Seeing a show that is still very Futuristic in style and being stuck watching it in Black in White is Annoying.

Sales of Seasson 1 of Lost in Space after Colorization would Skyrocket.

How many people including myself want to sit and watch the season 1 with our Kids and feel let down that it is still in Black and White. Today's kids don't like Black and white. Nor Me.

Indeed, Lost in Space deserves a digital threatment for a HD release. Though it should have been done right the fist time it came out on DVD but it was a shame... it looked like VHS tapes!

Yes your right about that ez2e2009.But if Fox has a HD or 2k or 4k.rescan of the original neg.That would sure make up for it for a Blu-Ray remaster.

I hope one day soon they coloize the 1st season.

Just like I Dream Of Jeanie etcthe New Colorizing looks magnificent.Lost in Space deserves this.Seeing Trek get the full treatment (new effects deleated scenes etc).

I wish TCF and the Allen estate would redo the CGI parts of LIS just like Paramount/CBS did with Star Trek. This intro, along with the actors faces superimposed would be great!
