  • If I had a choice to drive either a F1 car of any era of a Le Mans Car of any era. I whould choose the Le Mans car

  • "No other race offers 24 hours or passion, drama and excitement."

    24 hours nurburgring ?

  • Having attended Le Mans five times, I must say I would go every year if I could. The rare race that plays the national anthem of every driver entered in the event prior to the start of the race. My pal Tony Tobias in UK has attended 40 consecutive years!

  • You have some nice footage here.

    good work!

  • nice

  • Nice man!

  • ok thanks

  • i can't find in youtube...can yo find?

  • i can't either, do you want the file?

  • Did the driver of the flipping Mercedes-Benz die?

  • No, he survived

  • i mean in the beginning

  • those are old cars

  • Great scenes of LM racing glory throughout the ages, but whats with the weird lifeless extra-curricular junior rock school music composition?

  • I wish I could have gone to it back then... the last four years have been awesome but a lot of the noise has been lost ;(

  • bentley 3

  • porsche 16 audi 8 ferrari 6 mercedes 2 jaguar 5 ford 4 peugeot 4 talvot largo 2 austin haely 1 bangoual renault 1 maserrati 3 matra simca renault 2 renault alpine 1 rondeu (lp79)1 mazda 1 the only japanese car too win le mans alfa romeo 4 i forgot the rest sorry

  • 1:56 mazda 787B my favourite car ever

  • same here, Rotarys all the way man!

  • duh!

  • 2:30 is crazy

  • awesome vid but the music sounds like its from a teaching aid VHS tape from middle school

  • HAHA thank you

  • All American races is on a circle track! its got to be easy to be fun, huh? not a fuck!

  • actually we have some really challenging road race tracks... Good job

  • Beautiful! That's a real passion

  • u should here the cars coz i go there every year and the smell of rubber and fumes

  • Nice video. Interesting - I've been planning to do a Le Mans tribute for a long time and I've had exactly similar idea to combine onboard segmemts from different eras :)

  • God and I am sure its WAY easier to drive in a loop for 24hours instead of having to turn and brake etc, Daytona is the LAZY mans racing, just like many other american things, thats why a ton of us "yep im american and white" are fat and overweight - WAKE UP AMERICA

  • actually its a road course within the oval, jerk

  • totally agree with you. driving with 600 and more hp cars is always difficult..but it's impossible to compare a banal oval with lemans circuit!

  • if traffic is all that interest´s you, then maybe Daytona is a bit better, even if I then would reccomend you the 24 hours of Nürburgring with 220+ cars on a 17 mile course, on a far more demanding circuit, with bigger speed differences of cars.

But in overall importance, nothing beats LeMans, just because of it´s history.

  • nice video mate!

  • LeMans has always been one of my favorite race tracks in the world aong with the classic F1 circuits at Spa, Monza, and the streets of Monaco as well as the old Beach course at Daytona Beach, Indy and Darlington in the States. I always liked the tradition of the now discontinued "LeMans Start", but before they stopped it because of safety reasons, that was probably the best start to any race world wide. I would love to go see the 24 hours in person someday before I pass away.

  • no britcar is the more private enduracce race

  • can any randoms compete in the 24hours or do u need to be part of a proper 'team'? :S

  • LOL

of course u need to be part of a team....

  • well i no u need an actual team xD i just mean could like u and a group of friends take part or must it be some professional team? :)

  • No, you can rock up with you bog standard Honda Civic on the day of the race, and lead the feild into the first corner...

  • You need to build a proper car and get a team. Are you down?

  • Screw the Indianapolis 500. Tell Tony George to go and shove it. I don't care what anyone else says, Le Mans has always been my favorite race and always will be. Sportscar racing and Formula 1 are way better than most of the racing available in the states. Of course we do have ALMS, though.
