Yes, it is a nice easy and fun song. My wife showed it to me the otherday and I wanted to learn it for her. I plan to post it on YouTube this weekend. I'll send you the link - after all, I learned it from you. :-)
Listen to my composition, "Heaven's Lullabye (Heaven Bound) written and performed by me. Just click Videos above next to the button "Subscribe" and find it.
The only thing I could tell you is bar as close as possible to the fret and RELAX your grip-- yes, it seems contrary to proper method but it works better that way. Good luck and thanks for the compliment.
you play very nicely, im glad you posted this.. but im a new player only been playin for a few months so i dont rele know those chords, it will take time but iv tought myself a few songs and this im sure will bee my next
I got a new camera and will put up a new tutorial. How about "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye"; or, "Why Do Fools Fall In Love"; or
"Never-The-Less(I'm In Love With You" (Anne Murray); or "Hey There, Delilah"; or "Over The Rainbow (Jazzy -style); or, "Stars" by The Weepies; or... "Dream Of Me"; or "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me"?
i'm a beginner guitar player and i have an electric fender and when i match my fingers to play the chords you're playing they DON'T sound alike. Do you know why? Please help! thankyou and by the way you play very nicely!
I checked my guitar to see if I was playing it in tune to my piano-- yep, I'm in tune. You are probably not in the correct tuning. There are various places on the internet that you could tune your guitar to. Just do a search.
@rueisl8423 we were all beginners at some point :D make sure the guitar is in tune, its on a clean channel or effect and g# is on the 4th fret c# is on the 4th fret just one string lower f# is on the second fret.
Thank you. Actually, there are several mistakes and I didn't play it as well as I could have. I was "plowing" though it and should have done better. As soon as my camera comes back from the repair shop (very soon now) I'll repost that song.
I'm glad you got it. It's one of those tunes that you can pull "out of a hat" when you're around you're people, you know? And it sounds so "pro" but you and I know it is so simple.
thank youuuuuu so sooo much!

@howelldakis Strumming patterns can be gotten by simply listening and emulating. Just listen for the rhythmic continuity and you'll get.

Thanks. I really should redo it, though. I probably will. I hate that little screw up: it's so prominent.
zaputzaput1 3 years ago
@zaputzaput1 Please do, maybe with some strumming and which fingers ya using for us who arent too familiar with the chords quite yet
metsha 1 year ago
Well, not as right as it should have been; just didn't feel like doing it again. But the chords are there and that's all that really matters.
Thanks.
