How to Jailbreak iPod Touch/iPhone 1.1.4

when i press jailbreak + activate it keeps on saying entering recovery mode... while Itunes is saying it is in recovery mode and needs reapairing

This video is for a 1.1.4 jailbreak! Can't you read the title. There is ABSOLUTELY no way to jailbreak a 2G touch as of now anyways. Here's how you can fix it though. Just hold down the home button and sleep/on-off button at the same time for a long time (even through the apple logo) until you see the connect to itunes logo, it is now in dfu mode. connect to itunes and restore. good luck!

Do you have an iPhone? If you have a touch and clicked that, it will cause an error. I wouldn't jailbreak 1.1.4 anymore anyways, watch my video on jailbreaking 2.0 or 2.0.2.

i click in jailbreak but dont close itunes helper i stoped the proces but my ipod said IOIpodUSBDevice::startIpodStac­k can't stard! need configuration and i conect ipod but pc no see itunes no see i can`t restaore

Connect to the pc, and bring up ZiPhone again. (Don't Worry about restoring) and click jailbreak, and give it another go around. GOOD LUCK!

your ipod is supposewd to still be 1.1.4 but your supposed to get a blue icon called "Installer". You didn't get that?

ook... it works that thing with the 2 buttons but when i open the ipod again.. appears that list ,it scroll up bla , bla.... and apears again that mesge : BSD root ...... and it still apearing amd fill all the screan if i let it so... can you tell me he steps that i should do... i saw that the itunes doesnt recognise the ipod when i connect it to the PC.... sory about my english, i'm from romania... hmm, if my ipod doesnt break (and i thing so.. because its a soft by the way...) it's ok

OK heres what you need to do do what i said before, hold down the home button and sleep/wake button but when it shuts off keep holding it, just keep holding the 2 buttons until the connect to itunes symbol comes up (this should come up after the apple logo). So, do what i told you before only keep holding them until it shows connect to itunes, this puts your ipod in DFU mode which is a safe mode. Connect to itunes, restore and try jailbreakin again.

Dear Superchargered88,

Chill, this can be fixed. First thing you should try is holding down the sleep/onoff switch and the home button at the same time. Hold those down till the screen goes black then restart it. If that doesn't work just let me ok?
