lol, thx guys. of course i know i dont have to be jew to go to israel. its just the visa its hard to get since ur guys r pretty strict in the security things. plus....i want a free trip!!! :P
I was on the Taglit Birthright Israel in June and it was blast. But once it's over you cannot go on it ever again unless you go back there with your family, friends, etc etc. And of course pay more money
Yes, you should Israel, It is the most exciting, loving, wonderful, BLESSED COUNTRY in the world. Gods promises stand true for His chosen people. I long to go home "again". I love America but I consider my home to be Israel. Once you go, you will see for yourself.
Not at all. The purpose of Birthright trip is to allow Jewish students to learn about their religion and history, and to reconnect with their heritage. Given the reality of intermarriage among American Jewry today, the trip gives add value to the meaning of our Jewishness.
If your Not Jewish or even if you are, there's another program out there. It's Called Sar-el or Volunteers for Israel. You get to spent 2-3 weeks in the Israeli military. It's Awesome. I did it in 2003.
I am not jewish but i love jewish history and i would like to get involved in many activities that israel has to offer. Is there any other sort of voluntry stuff like kibbutz that i can get involved in.
Yeah, there a few program out there. Google Volunteer for Israel and see what you get. Sar-el is and awesome program, I did that one. There are over 30 Kibbutz to volunteer on. Just contact them.
