  • I HAVE THE ORIGNAL ON 12" VINYL FROM 1991, IF ANYONE WANTS TO BUY IT!

  • 19 years old!!!! Twenty soon for this classic! They had best release a nostalgic Renaissance for that one.

Still remember when I played it on Renaissance 1 CD1 track 9 for the first time. Amazing tune, did not want it to end, then the masters enveloped it in 'Love & Happiness'

  • @dezhar yeh. at the begining of track 9 they doubleup the mix with 2 copies of the Sunscreem record, Dub mix comes in first then the original drifted slightly in/out of time purposely to create a phasing tunnel effect with the two records. Blew my head off first time i heard it... :

  • @camdenraver I never knew that, you learn something new everyday! Tune

  • sounds just as good without the xtc

  • Fantastic tune, long time not heard... loving it like a tramp on chips, nice one.

  • theres only 1 place were that tune was properly loved and that sir henrys cork the groove'n that was done is no mans buisness da good ol days

  • Haven't heard this for nearly sixteen years ! At the time i made a little film for my new girlfriend using the track, I'm going to make another one today as a Christmas gift for her. Perhaps one of our kids can give it to her. Funny how life makes us forget what we used to be all about.

  • I don't understand people who go on here and listen to a tune and then write a negative comment about it. There are plenty of tunes that I dont like but I have got better things to do with my time than post negative comments about them. Everyone has their own taste in music - something that speaks to their soul. This tune has a lot of meaning to lots of people and is all about giving a positive and peaceful message to the world. In other words, get a life!

  • IT SUCKS

  • @wateva123XD

    Perfect.

  • this is not the boys own version on renaissance. or to put it simply, re-edited like all the mixes they do. just back then we all wet the beds because we had no idea how they mixed. now any fucker can do it, and i was told by a friend they never programmed renaissance either? not to say they are not great, but.........but....... sasha global underground san fran is so out of key mix wise i tend to trust my source

  • Ma & Da

  • 1 van de beste en mooiste

  • 1 of da best tunes dat'l ever b made

  • real blast from the past !! :)

  • world class!

  • at the villa tunes, belgium late hours, where is the time.

    great disk on bonzai classics

  • Great tune. Owes a fair bit to Simple Minds' tho

  • owes it all i think to simple minds !

  • Good observation! "Empires & Dance" and "Sons & Fascination" were two really trancey early Simple Minds gems. Bravo.

  • From 8:27 just melts me....always did...always will...Mitsubishi anyone?! :)

  • @csperl I know what you mean about the ending, it's the same with me. Utterly timeless

  • @csperl YES. The end of this track is just awesome.

  • I'm wi' you mate.

  • @dubconcrete I know what you mean, it's the same with me. Utterly timeless.

  • MY FAVOURITE MIX !!!

  • Agreed... great label too, JBO.

  • my vote is the spiritchaser rework... beats them all! ;)

  • Have you heard the remix done by 6 essential wonders of the world - rhythm's a drug?

  • now i would say out of the 100 or more remixes heller/farleys is probably the best. like there other stuff it so groovy so boys own. yep this one as my vote...

  • Have you got Horses without heads - Whats your name ?

  • one of the best old skool house songs EVER...gives me chills and makes the hair on my arms stand up.....

  • Drowning in your love, your love, your love, your love, your love, your love...

  • Great memories! Mmm. Ace! This and more, 7 cds all original vinyl 89-92 mixed. Interested? get in touch.

  • Loving 'chrome' and 'where did all the years go' - indeed where the fuck did they all go. Still happy happy great times!

  • Along with DSK-What Would we do- 8 minutes of madness mix, this is the other Best Farley and Heller

  • this is one of the best remixes *ever*

i had an unhealthy amount of vinyl & nothing could match in the pop remix category

one of farley & heller's best moments

  • I can come close with something, as I thought nothing could match it either until I heard.......wait for it......the Biff n Memphis remix of "Always By Your Side" by Jimmy Somerville!!! Ignore the artist, feel the remix, it's utterly brilliant.

  • nice tune

  • Chrome !!!!!

  • Tuuuuuune

  • where did the fucking years go?? answers on a postcard please???

  • We took 45,000 pills and missed most of the 90s.

  • I never, never ever get tired of this track. To me, it's the most brilliant, building progressive house tune ever, waaaay ahead of its time. All club house we hear today is influenced by this song. The only downside is that the beginning does not last long enough, like the version on the first Renaissance album.

Nevertheless, I'm drowning in its love!!

  • this track willllllllllllllll never ever ever ever ever ever ever leave me ... i just love it \0/

keep em underground like the good old days \0/

  • @BartTF what makes you say that all club house we hear today is influenced by this song?

  • @BartTF

i agree with you friend, i used to listen in my favorite radio that version.

did you find it in youtube ? can you tell me the link

    greets

  • @BartTF Um, I wouldn't say a track from 1992, that sounds very much like real house (Chicago/NYC) from 1985 is "the influence for all club house we hear today." Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Steve Hurley, Farley Keith et al drove this movement, not British imitators. having said that..I love this track. B)))

  • @BartTF this is the same mix thats on the first Renaissance album m8

  • @BartTF i totally agree, fookin awesome it is!!!

  • @REDDITCHROCKS ...Used to love the bmx track at Redditch lol!

  • @BartTF state yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • @BartTF this is the version on the the firswt renaisance album

  • mushies...:)

  • give me acid...........!

  • Got a spare of this on a 2 x 12" if anyone out there wants to buy it!

All time Ibiza classic from '92!

  • hmmm... possibly. How much do u want for it?

  • The only problem with this song is that it doesn't go on long enough!!!

  • Anyone know where that photo is from?

  • I dont know but I did see it the other day as a screen saver on a new computer at best buy. This photo is getting around.

  • Loved this for so long found it on a mix and the found the original I think this is genius right here!

  • what a fxxxin track

  • A beautiful record to just sit back, close your eyes, and relax

  • Loved this ever since I heard it on one of the early Renaissance album, particularly as it starts building up at 2:09 - 2:55

  • wapisimos todos los remixes

  • Total classic, amazing production

  • brilliant

  • this is from a renaissance triple cd that has now been deleted. I have been trying to get a copy for about 7 years as i lost mine in Tenerife. Any chance you could burn me a copy. Please please please.

  • happy memories, an absolute classic mix

  • Has anyone else noticed the bass progression at 2:30 is the same as Veracocha - Carte Blanche? The synth strings towards the end 5:24 were copied in Raven Maize - The Real Life too!

    Classic group though Sunscreem!

  • at 5.30 the tune kicks in with theme for great citie's by simple from 1981 ! classic track

  • love this tune :D

  • this is like redicovering a lump of hash in an old pair of trousers, class

  • so many memories..

  • I saw them at the Colliseum in Daytona Beach.

  • Sasha and Diggers... Renaissance...played this track after VOAT...crazy shit.

I've played this at a spot or two in miami and the youth just didn't get it...that is until everything dropped and the vocals came in...the E-heads were goin nuts and i was about to cry from all the awesome memories attached to this song.

  • Trust the yanks not to get it. At least, not at first.......
