19 years old!!!! Twenty soon for this classic! They had best release a nostalgic Renaissance for that one.
Still remember when I played it on Renaissance 1 CD1 track 9 for the first time. Amazing tune, did not want it to end, then the masters enveloped it in 'Love & Happiness'
@dezhar yeh. at the begining of track 9 they doubleup the mix with 2 copies of the Sunscreem record, Dub mix comes in first then the original drifted slightly in/out of time purposely to create a phasing tunnel effect with the two records. Blew my head off first time i heard it... :

Haven't heard this for nearly sixteen years ! At the time i made a little film for my new girlfriend using the track, I'm going to make another one today as a Christmas gift for her. Perhaps one of our kids can give it to her. Funny how life makes us forget what we used to be all about.
I don't understand people who go on here and listen to a tune and then write a negative comment about it. There are plenty of tunes that I dont like but I have got better things to do with my time than post negative comments about them. Everyone has their own taste in music - something that speaks to their soul. This tune has a lot of meaning to lots of people and is all about giving a positive and peaceful message to the world. In other words, get a life!
all those famous djs played this, but my clearest memory is of Paul Pearce (Feltham) playing it at the Ocean's Inne, Zante. The summer of 1995. Top one pearcy!
@REDDITCHROCKS Sex? Nah man, she just wanted 2 tell me about her day. I thought 'f**k this, she's gotta go'. Barely broke by dancing stride. Woop woop!
@barflysyc - thanks for the giggle - did you let her off in the end, once you'd got over it, and she'd apologised? :-) Great tune - still play this - goes down well - big up the 90s for top dance tunes...
aw yes ...the legendary track ....love love love this track....truley still get the goose bumps...ha! doot doot doot do doot doot doot doot do doot
and how about the ending......i used to have this one mix i programed ah yes it was a track by sasha cant remember which.....but it was awsome......hearin this one again made my day
this is not the boys own version on renaissance. or to put it simply, re-edited like all the mixes they do. just back then we all wet the beds because we had no idea how they mixed. now any fucker can do it, and i was told by a friend they never programmed renaissance either? not to say they are not great, but.........but....... sasha global underground san fran is so out of key mix wise i tend to trust my source
quite telling it's the thirsd track of my 14 hour prog/trance epic set, found at my site, great memories, esp as I'm a simple minds fan, always loved the sampling of Theme for Great Cities
still love this track it needs to be revamped or brought back!! i think sunscreem are reunited as i see a tune on beatport and my newphews dad (rob the bass player) said there was a reunion lol
now i would say out of the 100 or more remixes heller/farleys is probably the best. like there other stuff it so groovy so boys own. yep this one as my vote...
I can come close with something, as I thought nothing could match it either until I heard.......wait for it......the Biff n Memphis remix of "Always By Your Side" by Jimmy Somerville!!! Ignore the artist, feel the remix, it's utterly brilliant.
I never, never ever get tired of this track. To me, it's the most brilliant, building progressive house tune ever, waaaay ahead of its time. All club house we hear today is influenced by this song.
