My bf's family has had 4 chessies and all of them have mined for rocks in the water. They will also bark and mouth the rocks incessantly for what feeels like hours.

@atheistmayora They basically are a lab but bigger and with curly hair. They act like labs around families, perfect dog.

Both my dogs do that !!!!!! i guess thats wut the breed is meant for besides retrieving (my dogs whine when they mine too :D)
