@RubyTuesday93 damnn...im trying to learn some new bluesy kinda stuff and that right there is exactly what i want to be able to do.. good stuff man oh and im thinking about getting the 000x1 how do you like it?
@Drewsnewtube Its just like any acoustic guitar. Its going to be difficult to bend due to the string gauge. but if you lighten up the string gauge you will be able to bend, but you will sacrifice your tone for that.
how do you like your martin 000x1? I'm debating to buy one of these, or buying a larrivee. So not quiet confident to pick which one of these two options. but its gotta be either the 000x1 or a larrivee, please tell me your insight. thanx
@asbani911 I would definitely recommend the martin although i have never played or even heard of the other brand. the martin is probably the best acoustic guitar out there for the price. I let my friend try mine out when he was looking to buy and acoustic guitar, and he bought the exact same model he liked it so much.
you made a Martin sound like an electric guitar.. haha awesome and why cant he solo on an acoustic... i actually think its great to show u dont have to have an electric to make this sort of sound.. Bravo.. and 4 years. geez.. i dont think il be that gud after 14 years. lol. been playing a year and i cant even get barre chords right yet.... ;-)
nice licks man i could see some mayer-clapton soulful influence

Thanks for the well done vid. My GF and I very much enjoy our 000x's, mine made in the USA, hers in Mexico (no difference!)
Question: Did you lower the action to facilitate fingerstyle playing?

@usernamemykel My guitar is completely stock, i have not done anything to it. just changed the strings thats all

How's the bending on this guitar? I have a DX1K, and it doesn't bend very well. Over all a good guitar though.

@RubyTuesday93 Well my buddy has a Taylor and his string gauge is pretty low, and it bends so easy.
Drewsnewtube 1 year ago
@Drewsnewtube I Just dont really like going below .12 gauge strings cause the tone is too thin and tin like, for my ears.
RubyTuesday93 1 year ago
@RubyTuesday93
can i ask what make/gauge strings youd suggest to keep good tone? thanks
chezruss 10 months ago
@chezruss Personally i use .11 gauge strings and ive never really experimented with brands. I mainly use Dadario strings, or martin.

I own this guitar and love it. Great projection, I like the sound of this guitar better than the pricier Martin's. Love the body too.

i got the x1ae and this guitar, for 500 bucks, sounded better than most of the 1200-2000 dollar ones in there!! martin guitars are simply the best!

@kdjfnvjvd This guitar blows my mind with how well it plays, every time i pick it up.

Thank you, the key to getting good is practice, it sounds stupid but its the truth.

Why solo on a demo. Where's the stummin or the finger pickin. Pointless video.
tailgunner89 2 years ago
@tailgunner89 Why do what 99% of the other demo vids already show? This guy has talent and i for 1 enjoyed this refreshing (fingerpicked) solo
