If you wanna work on suspension , you have to completely depresurise the hydraulic instalation . If you have only maitenance repairs ( brake pads , oil changing , LHM , exhaust pipe , etc. etc. ) wich do not require an intervention on the hydraulic instalation ( wich is presurised at minimum 60 ATM with the engine off ) parts the car must placed on an even surface or an elevator . The "up and down " it's because the back of the car is on an upper level than the front and engine is off .
