i no ur a genius so im jus gonna ask u this. i have winsXP 32-bit and i installed a wins7 transformation pack. 5 days after uninstalled it i got the black screen. wen windows boots, after loading screen, at log in screen where it says select user, it just freeze. and now, it doesn't even get that far it jus freezes after load. it even resets itself. im @ a loss here man...

Hey Maybe someone can help me. I have a toshiba laptop, and was looking at videos on dailymotion. My computer shut off, but didnt shut off completely. I doubt we'll see 128 bit for at least 20 years. If you believe otherwise, consider how many bytes (or gigabytes, or terabytes, or exabytes) a 64-bit system can address. I think we're more likely to see the phasing out of hard drive controllers, and the phasing in of onboard batteries/circuitry to maintain the content within RAM.

i have had a network card do that before but the problem was it was not settled right in the pci slot! and when it ignitioated it turned the computer off but all the internal lights and fans stayed on ya it does weird shit like that!

I know for Windows at least you need to have a 64 bit OS to recognize more than 3 GB of RAM

omg, i got the "dumping system memory" message too!, i resterted and all my icons on my desktop were gone, as well as my start menu, i still cent use my pc, the pc was less then 1 year old, my powermac is 5 years old and the worst that ever hapened was the computer froze when i tried to play some ati tech demos when i had an nvidia fx 5200 ultra. oh, and the g5 was a 64 bit proccesor.

That last one sounds to me like "Unmountable Boot Volume," which could be as simple as putting in the Windows CD, going to the recovery console, and running a command like chkdsk or fixboot (or both). Details would've really helped that guy.
