I must agree the 80's version was better. But one thing I did like was the intro on how they emphasized hope, equality, and so forth. Maybe that is what is wrong with today's youth. You could totally tell this show had jumped the shark by playing off the turbo politically correct 90's sentiment with the little "hope, equality and tolerance" thing at the beginning. Great show in the early 80's though. I watched it religiously growing up.

@MrMusikman24 , Yes Fergie was on the show from 1983 to 1989. the 89 season was her last and she was the last original member on the show. After that the new kids came in and the show went down hill and was cancelled.

By '93-'94, all the happy fun times of the 80's and early 90's had been completely over, so to keep up with everyone else, kids inc decided to have a "cooler looking" intro. If you ask me, it looks like someone paid only 20 bucks for this intro. Honestly, it's like the show just moved to PBS. Everyone knew it was gonna end by then because the show began to be so crappy.

I stopped watching Kids Inc religiously by the '92 season, so I vaguely remember the '93 season. Kids Inc had gone downhill by this point. Just doesn't compare to previous seasons.

They Added Ryan Lambert back then in 1985 when Jerry Sharell left the show. Jerry played Micky who was getting way to tall for the show and wasn't really into doing acting. Ryan was honestly the only decent add on Kid after the originals from 1984. Ryan sang a lot of solos and has chemistry with everyone, Every other kid that they added has been LAME and seriously not as talented as the original cast.

This was also the last season if I remember right. This one stood out because the characters evolved into some street smart punks...the once innocent and sweet Anastasia had this tough don't-mess-with-me attitude all of a sudden in this season.

Kids Incorporated and the mIckey Mouse Club I guess were the best shows for the disney channel at that time. The one thing that I hated about was that they cancelled the last season after just 10 episodes, while the other seasons lasted longer than this season, but I guess all shows must come to end.

Kids Inc from 1984 to 1988, was the best years...out of the orginal cast in 1984 Stacy (Fergie)...was on it the longest having been on untill the 1989 season..I didn't see the 89, 91 93 season....I understand after the 89 season it went on hiatus for 2 yrs returning in 91, then another hiatus for before coming back for the 93 season which was the last season...go to "Kids Incorporated - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" gives whole history.

Um, no it didn't go on a second hiatus between 91 and 93. There was a 92 cast which is when Nicole started on the show, and Kenny's last season. Then they had this craptacular season, and technically they went on hiatus, but they were going to bring it back, but they wanted at least Ana and Haylie to come back, and by that time, they would've been almost college aged, so it didn't make sense.
