I wonder why they never changed the intro in the 10 years the show was on. you know, change the tempo or something. the 93' version actually looks more outdated than the 83.
hahaha wow, I remember this being on growin up. I was around 7 in 1993, I remember I liked the cartoons better so I would watch this until it was over.
I must agree the 80's version was better. But one thing I did like was the intro on how they emphasized hope, equality, and so forth. Maybe that is what is wrong with today's youth. Little bastards today should be strapped down and forced to watch KIDS Inc. LOL.. maybe the would not be such little tards..
@DaZwinkyGuide .. You wouldn't blame the kids of today for being so out of control? Yes I also blame TV but we have a choice in life to do our best, settle, or become deliquents. Maybe you confused what I was trying to say, but if not then I am not the only one with issues if you think T.V. is only to blame.
@JehovahSaveUs theres more than T.V. to blame, but T.V. is mostly the bad guy here, just look what they did with Cartoon Network! They make kids born from 2000-present think that if a hobo would say "tacos" and make a fat lady fall on him in new Cartoon Network, plus music today is being runned by runts which make todays kids think if they acted like thoose runts they would be cool.Plus when I said you have issues I meant like "angers issues towards kids" thats very cruel, like really -.-
Unfortunately my recollection of this season isn't very clear, because they moved it to 3:30 in the afternoon and by school bus didn't make it home in time.... :-\
What's weird is that I remember watching reruns of this season, even though it apparently stopped airing 5 days after my 3rd birthday. And I din't remember anything else about being three.
im tired of hearing this 80's vs 90's. if you grew on the 90's version you would think this is the best. likewise if a 90's kid like myself grew on the 80's version i would think the 80's version was the best.
@rania3830 , It's allways going to be like that. 80's vs 90's on every subject from music to TV shows, Movies , cartoons Ect... it is just the way it is. even some kids who grew up in the 90's can watch this show and feel the 80's part of the show was better. bottom line every one has a opinion.
You could totally tell this show had jumped the shark by playing off the turbo politically correct 90's sentiment with the little "hope, equality and tolerance" thing at the beginning. Great show in the early 80's though. I watched it religiously growing up.
yes, fergie was on this show, but now its 1991 in the show. If your to old like 18 you need to get out. New people need to do kids incorporated. They cant stay there too long, new people come in. Good news: Jennifer is in this show though!
@MrMusikman24 , Yes Fergie was on the show from 1983 to 1989. the 89 season was her last and she was the last original member on the show. After that the new kids came in and the show went down hill and was cancelled.
By '93-'94, all the happy fun times of the 80's and early 90's had been completely over, so to keep up with everyone else, kids inc decided to have a "cooler looking" intro. If you ask me, it looks like someone paid only 20 bucks for this intro. Honestly, it's like the show just moved to PBS. Everyone knew it was gonna end by then because the show began to be so crappy.
I stopped watching Kids Inc religiously by the '92 season, so I vaguely remember the '93 season. Kids Inc had gone downhill by this point. Just doesn't compare to previous seasons.
They Added Ryan Lambert back then in 1985 when Jerry Sharell left the show. Jerry played Micky who was getting way to tall for the show and wasn't really into doing acting. Ryan was honestly the only decent add on Kid after the originals from 1984. Ryan sang a lot of solos and has chemistry with everyone, Every other kid that they added has been LAME and seriously not as talented as the original cast.
Dude, do you have not a single original comment? You've put that same damn "They added Ryan Lambert" comment on like FIVE of these Kids Inc. videos. We fucking GET IT already.
This was also the last season if I remember right. This one stood out because the characters evolved into some street smart punks...the once innocent and sweet Anastasia had this tough don't-mess-with-me attitude all of a sudden in this season.
WTF? I don't even remember Disney airing this season. Maybe this was one of those deals where the contracts were running out and it was abandoned to the 3am death slot.
Kids Incorporated and the mIckey Mouse Club I guess were the best shows for the disney channel at that time. The one thing that I hated about was that they cancelled the last season after just 10 episodes, while the other seasons lasted longer than this season, but I guess all shows must come to end.
What the hell is this? This must definitely be when the show was on it's way out. I'll always remember the original style with the kids turning into the letters -- awesome!
Instead of canceling "Kids Incorporated" why didn't they just film the show at Disney Chanel Studios and sign Kids Incorporated to Walt Disney Records?
They weren't thinking that way back that. By the time some genius at the Mouse House thought of that idea, they had waited until the Disney Channel talent search process had begun to be seriously diluted.
i must have only watched this show early on. i dont recognize the intro or the kids, i remember watching it over 20 years ago and wanting to be one of the kids incorporated. and not wanting to go back to school on monday.
Logo effect looks better suited to "The Proud Family".
The ONLY good thing about this one was the inclusion of the person running the P*lace in the main intro. Just wonder why they didn't think of that when they had Riley.
Ok, the whole PEACE, KNOWLEDGE, EQUALITY (LOL), TOLERANCE, et cetera bit is a "PC" bit right? LOL
I'm glad that I watched the show from 84 to about 88. Cause this opening went downhill from the rest.
This theme must have been made around the same time McDonalds started to put 1 kid of each race on the planet on their boards that followed the highways. LOL
And someone better have lost their job by creating that horrible logo. :( Back to the 86 Theme!!!
thing is i just got done looking at all the themes from the pilot till this one and way to much was changed its no wonder it was taken off the air it looks like they pushed it to much but all good things must come to an end rite ?
@ChristianKidsShowFan Yeah, but shows always end when they start sucking and ratings get low. If this show was still going strong back then, they probably would have continued it for a few more years.
Kids Inc from 1984 to 1988, was the best years...out of the orginal cast in 1984 Stacy (Fergie)...was on it the longest having been on untill the 1989 season..I didn't see the 89, 91 93 season....I understand after the 89 season it went on hiatus for 2 yrs returning in 91, then another hiatus for before coming back for the 93 season which was the last season...go to "Kids Incorporated - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia" gives whole history.
Um, no it didn't go on a second hiatus between 91 and 93. There was a 92 cast which is when Nicole started on the show, and Kenny's last season. No, that's a longstanding rumor but it's not true. There is a porn star that looks a bit like her, but it's not. Ana was on a soap opera after Kids Inc, and now is a makeup artist in San Francisco.

I thought 1993 was one of the best seasons because the stories were a BIT more realistic (at least by KI standards) but I'm biased because that's the year I FINALLY got to be an extra!
