I see what point you are trying to make with the whole "To our senses the world is flat and matter is solid" argument. However, didn't we disprove those opinions through research and science? Yes, i know you then later mentioned that there are limitations on certain subjects that cannot exactly be tested at this point but wasn't there a time that man also thought it was impossible to answer the question "Is the world round?" or "Can matter be something other than a solid?". You may be right about science assuming too many things, but what about religion? The only "proof" you have is a book written thousands of years ago. The theories expressed by scientists may not be absolutely correct, but they are just that : theories founded on known facts.
