@blablog50 League of legends isn't an RTS, it's a moba style mmo. DotA was the first moba style mmo, and the genre is fairly new.

@blablog50 It's MOBA. You work together with a team in different maps to take over the other team's nexus. Everytime you start a new game, you pick a new champion(or one you've already played before), and you start at lvl 1(max lvl is 18). Usually games last around 30 minutes to an hour. There's items you can buy to enhance what your champion is good at. You are a summoner, and you have masteries/runes to make your champ stronger in game. Right now in LoL theres two playstyles: classic/dominion.

@blablog50 Classic currently has two maps: Summoner's Rift(5v5) and twisted treeline(3v3). Basically the point of the game is to destroy all the turret's in a lane and then destroy the inhibitor. Then you start spawning super minions in that lane. After, you destroy the two turrets guarding the nexus. Then you destroy the nexus and you win :). In dominion(one map so far[5v5]) you capture points around the map and whichever team has more points captured(5 in all), slowly drains the enemy nexus.
