  • The pronunciation is the same as romanian, except ge which in swahili sounds exactly as ghe in romanian

  • This is easy for Malay speakers as well - since the A E I O U is pronounced the same way as Swahili

  • Nice lesson. Only that "O" in Swahili is more like O - in Okay, Ohio, Object .... But this is a real good begining for anyone wanting to learn swahili. Great!!

    I don't know what English you speak, but this is not true as for mine (Texas). "Object" has a very different sound from "Ohio", and the Swahili 'o' I know is not exactly like that of Ohio.
