Another suggestion: Chalkboarding. Not sure how it goes at other schools, but here at Penn State a lot of groups do it - you go out really early, before classes start, and go to various rooms and just write on the chalkboard some basic info (group name, meeting info, website), so everyone that has class there reads it.
