It looks fucking awful. Just look at how overdone that bloom is and how they just went nuts with shaders. So brown, so green, so fucking ugly. Everything looks soft and out of focus. UGLY!! technologically advanced graphics can be downright ugly too, and this, UT 3, and Gears of War are proof.
Not exactly, same engine but different focus, the combat switches to turn-based combat like the previous fallout games with stylish kills, just like the previous fallout games. Instead of skills you gain perks, so classes are custom built, not selected by a list. Radiation is a huge part of gameplay as well.

and the turn-based is not really turn-based, its just a pause system where you can choose what part of the enemy to hit, but the effect is the same no matter what you hit, the head is coming off and the ragdoll will act like epilepsy struck it

well, FO3 does not take the Fallout timeline, well and weapons like those rock it luncher are a bit silly (maybe some "Postal" kind of "humor" if you want to call it that.) seems not very exiting to me, while VATS really does. well, since there's some gameplay up, VATS looks like, they should work a bit on it.

No, the head would have been fine, but its the ARMS and sometimes LEGS that also tend to come off, when sniped in the head... Thats what makes it downright retarded... I mean the arms do not even take dammage????

before the story was always save a bunch of people from some horible thing happening and ended up with kill some bad guy who had nothing to do with the first part of the story - now its just - someone goes missing - go find him - and the ending is you find him? that kinda sucks
Allthrough, there are some Plot Parts witch are semi-official. Your Char grows up into Vault 101, The only Family you get is your Dad. One day, he will be missing, and you'll go out to search for him.
There are some further informations, but i think i'm spoiling too much. Search for it on the Web...
