Missouri Legislature Poised To Repeal Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Referendum. Tea party groups stridently opposed the referendum, arguing it was “just another example of big government meddling in people’s lives.” Republicans in the state legislature are poised to repeal the regulations Missouri’s voters enacted: Saying the new requirements would put the dog breeding industry out of business, the state Senate voted 20-14 on Thursday for a wholesale rewrite.
More food for thought--have read that 82% of the funding BACKING THIS BILL (Prop B) is coming OUTSIDE the State of Missouri. Obviously, Intelligent Missourians would not be funding something this deceptive! "SHOW ME" NO BS!
Responsible breeders who treat their animals like family are the ones targeted here! Educate yourselves and VOTE NO on Prop B!
That was a really nice kennel. And the only thing I saw was 1 bad eye? lol So now they get to go and most will be killed off. Sad day for those dogs! Peta kills around 90% of the ones they get in. After aspca or human society sell all the can they kill the rest. I'm glad they don't do that to our children. ( yet)
@YESSUREOK no that was NOT a nice kennel. those dogs were not taken care of at all. They were matted and dirty and had no beds or free space. They probably had all sorts of diseases and were suffering. And yes, spca, humane society and all others do euthanize but it wouldnt be necessary if things like this didnt happen at all. Puppy mills just need to STOP. Breeding is okay because breeds dont need to die out, but they also dont need to be overpopulated and born into this world in that condition
Please do volunteer your time at your local animal shelter and donate to an animal rights organization but you may want to choose one that uses it's funds more wisely than the ASPCA . According to Charity Navigator, Edwin J. Sayres, president of ASPCA pays himself an annual income of $473,998, which is 50 percent of their administrative costs. Check out CharityNavigator (dot) org for a list of the more worthy organizations out there helping animals, or donate to your local animal shelter.
@123notoneme You should be worried and sad to see any animal in a situation like this, yes, Corgi's are adorable but come on, what about the other animals?
@xItsMEEEEE i care about all dogs but corgis are especially close to me because i have 3 puppy mill corgis that i rescued. plus i have 4 resuced guinea pigs to. i do care about animals. I rescued every animal that i have and I am rehabilitating an abused pony as well. so, i do care but to see a corgi there makes my blood boil.

This kind of treatment towards any animal just makes me crazy. Only a true psychopath would do this kind of thing.

@xItsMEEEEE You are right. The going price as of today for a full blooded Corgi Puppy is $2,400 at the puppy mill store.
