Yes exactly, because in the 80s, they played in mostly much smaller little bars and music clubs that could hold 2,000 people at most. In those much smaller enclosed buildings the energy is all right in one place making it seem more intense, compared to a huge arena with 50,000 people, where the energy is spread out.
