there is a duty suit there. i think its upgraded so that it has 70 percent protection from mutants.

@raco3411 same as patching the stalker suit in the rookie camp its now a merc suit.

In OL, I was clearing the area off and getting ready to clear the dutyer (sp? is that even a word?) when the damn blowout hit.

Run into the "safe" building, waited it out, and watched the dutyer die and quest failed (which is strange as he was in a building?).

I love this game, just small random things like the bandits getting ambushed by a pack of dogs just before they arrived at your ambush is really fun.

Yeah. It's because GSC (the devs) put in A-Life, making things randomly happen (such as that), and have stalkers eat around a fire and leave, etc.

No, it was a Merc suit and a Bandit armor. Neither any where near as good as the Stalker suit.

Weird. When I played it there was a Duty suit there. Maybe it was patched..

Could be, originally the secret armor stash in the rookie camp had a Stalker suit, before being switched to a Merc suit.

Also it could be what difficulty you play on affects the items left around. I have heard that but not confirmed it.

You know what I find funny? Most of the time in Stalker, I get overweight by carrying too many energy drinks... ironic.

@dpq06 Stalker is worth more then $50 bucks, in my opinion; it is an excellent game.

I dont know if you know but for the duty prisoner to spawn you need to talk to the duty guy you rescued at the ambush site.

Yeah, the prisoner is actually that "Shaggy Sergei" guy who was dead on the ramp into the building.

You have to slaughter every single enemy nearby or he wigs out and runs around at .999c and never makes it back to the Duty camp before the bar (where he tends to die from standing in that fire barrel). He even detects them right through walls.
