Hmm, I've had this album on my Ipod for like two years now, and had no idea this was originally a Megadeth song. Thought it was an MPE original. I think I much prefer this version, not really a big 80's speed/thrash metal fan.

My opinion: MPE is better than megadeth.

Fact: While the vocals are'nt very good, MPE has more complex... well... everything else. Faster drums, more complex solos, you get the idea. I'd ask you to check out their other songs, but you probably wouldnt.

@Cheese8mario by in their time I mean when Megadeth was new and edgy. Music is a lot more technical, melodic and heavier these days. I got the endgame album when it came out but didn't particularly enjoy most of it.

The vocals don't fit well with the song. The chorus just doesn't have the epic quality of the original, and nothing particularly shines so as to make up for that.
