  • That was nice that they at least let you take pictures. I will never understand the no video thing but oh well.

How was the staff there? It would've been nice to see a Breath of Fire item but we can't have that series thanks to DQ =( Thanks for posting it's always cool to see new places, new people!

  • Lol, looks like fun. Hope it stays open long enough for me to check it out XD

  • @Jimaera Hopefully it stays around for a while. It looked pretty permanent but then again, all of the other Capcom themed restaurants seem to be temporary so who knows how long it will be there.

  • @xcornmuffinx It seems that a lot of the video game-themed restaurants close pretty quickly. Considering that places like Ninja Akasaka and that Alcatraz restaurant manage to stay open as long as they have, I'm not sure why the newer ones struggle so much. The whole place sure looks packed in this vid, lol.

  • @Jimaera Generally, the video game themed places are meant to be temporary from the start. I know a lot of those places are set for just a couple of months. Not sure about the Capcom Bar though. It was busy that day but then again, that was the first serving of the first day so of course it was packed.

Alcatraz and Ninja Akasaka are set up as permanant theme restaurants so those places tend to last longer.

  • Qué chingón¡, con el de japón tenemos, le quitaría la magía que hubiera por todo el mundo.

  • Weird how by now no one has managed to post an ingredient list...of course I haven't thoroughly studied the website yet. But, I still agree with the others that say you are one lucky guy cornmuffin.

  • U R SO FUCKING LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dudeofdeath868 I know it. I can't dispute that.

  • oh man i would love to go they!!!!! they should make one in europe hahhah!!!

  • @kmanextravideos It would be great if there were more of these. Though, I don't know if anywhere but Tokyo could support such a bar.

  • Oh man, this looks amazing. I am totally gonna have to go there when I go study in Japan next year!

  • @OverlordMegamax If it's still there definitely check it out. I'm never sure if these types of places are permanent or temporary.

  • ooo man i cant wait for asuras wrath and i cant wait to kill you in sf x tekken!!! muahahahahaha you will be mine cornmuffin!!! dude im loving the zombie meat lol was that the monster hunter cats cooking in one of pics? ong the tvirus(or g) looks awesome!!! OMG THE BRAIN CAKE IS PURE WIN!!!!

  • @zeroXshinobi I'm still not sure if I'm going to get SF X Tekken. I don't really like Tekken and the matches look like they are just going to be long tag combo fests. I might get it, though probably on the PS3 at this point because of all the extra characters.

The zombie meat was awesome because the broil the top with a blow torch at the table. The whole Resident Evil menu was awesome I think.

  • wow lol only japan would have a capcom bar

  • @amurphy245 It's probably the only place that could functionally support a Capcom Bar. The surprising thing about it was that there were way more girls there than guys. The ladies like Capcom apparently.

  • i remember seein' a thread on capcom fourms or somewhere like that an it had a Chris Redfield poster with this snack bar lookn item looked delicious lol i love how some of tha items r themed from games man i wanted to go :( do ya have any leftovers lol jk XD man u seemed to have fun so how didya overall feel about tha food an drinks :)? u know it wouldve been cool to keep tha menu it looked very cool :) how was tha jusdge gaval tha rasberry looked GOOD lol

  • @TekkenKazuyaMishima Every item on the menu is themed by a game though some of the links are tenuous at best. The food was really good though. There was a nice mix of flavors and items and something good for everyone.

The "judges gavel" was just a croquette with a french fry jabbed into it. It was tasty though. The brain cake was amazing though.

  • @xcornmuffinx *Begs for tha brain cake* may i have it :D if not u're a jerk lol jk XD

  • @TekkenKazuyaMishima It would be worth it to send it to you just to see what it became after days in the mail, unrefrigerated. More likely than not you turn into a zombie after eating it.

  • @xcornmuffinx i know u would like to send some, but i was jokin' lol im tellin' ya though wish i was there to have some lol

  • Sooooo nice ! :)

  • @BalAfrrRe Indeed! It's a really cool place.

  • Sounds like a cool place.

  • @lvpepe38 Definitely a cool place. If you like tasty food and games it's a perfect match!

  • It's not a big bar but it look cozy. I wish we had something like that in the states. Only in Japan. The foods and drinks looks very tasty. I like the blue needle and brain cake. Good stuff man.

  • @The8bittheater There is another drink with a red needle. They are appropriately named G-virus vaccine and T-virus vaccine. The brain cake was really good.

There were a bunch of awesome looking special edition drinks but it turned out they were only for the Karaoke section and not at the bar.

Really, there should be more video game themed bars everywhere! More in Tokyo, more in the US, more universally. A bar should be a prerequisite for a game! LOL

  • wow! what an awesome place, how unique. but i figured that the Biohazard food would be nothing but BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • @BradWeen Well, there is brain cake and brain shaped ice cubes for the drinks but beyond that the Biohazard food had zombie meat (that they cooked at your table with a blowtorch). Other than that, not much zombie related stuff.

  • Very awesome that is probably the coolest bar I've ever seen. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Can't wait to see more =)

I got an action replay for saturn btw. 1942 is awesome :)

  • @n2thepast It was a pretty awesome place. I'll definitely be going back!

Awesome! Having the action replay makes the Saturn a million times better!

  • Cool theme for a restaurant/bar. Looks like a fun place to have a bite to eat.

  • @castlevania78 Yeah, this place was pretty cool. It's got good food and games, what more could you ask for really?

  • looks awesome man. I would love to go there. Was that your GF?

  • @tb46667 Yeah, it was a good time for sure. Yeah, you can catch a brief glimpse of a lady friend. LOL

  • awesome video bro, wish i could go there

  • @78StriderStrikesBack Take a NEO GEO buying trip to Tokyo! You can get all the NEO GEO stuff you want and eat at the Capcom bar for the low low price of whatever the ridiculously expensive airfare would be! LOL

  • Dudeeee, why didn't you steal one of the Asura's Wrath promos for me?!!!! I'm the biggest Asura's Wrath fanboy and the game isn't even out yet. LOL That game is going to kick all sorts of @ss!! That bar/grill looks sweet, though I thought there would be more games being displayed. Are the waiters and waitresses dressed like Capcom characters? Image if Tronn Bon served your food in a giant mecha. lol This video just added a notch to the hate I have for you living in Japan! lol Great vid Joe!!

  • @PointBlankGamez I am all types of hyped for Asura's Wrath! I can't wait to finally get my hands on it.

There weren't really that many games on display. The bar is themed with the 4 games I mentioned so there was a lot of that stuff plus the soon to be released Asura's Wrath and SF X Tekken.

No cosplaying waitresses. There wouldn't have been room for them move! LOL

It's not really that big of a place. The food was good and not overly expensive though, so that's good.

  • @xcornmuffinx Hey did you see all the exclusive characters for the PS3 version of Street Fighter X Tekken? What system are you getting it for?

  • @PointBlankGamez I'm still not sure I'm going to get it. I'm not really hyped for it at the moment despite it having a lot of Capcom characters I'm interested in. If I do get it, I guess I'm going to be forced to get the PS3 versions though because of all the extra characters. I really want to use bad box art megaman!

  • From what I can see, they did a really good job in terms of the matching the meal/dessert/drink with the game theme. That Resident Evil "brain" cake looks delectable!

  • @segagenesis1989 The brain cake was really good! They made a solid effort in matching the games to the food. Though, the Resident Evil stuff is easily the best. I didn't get it, but there is a steak that they roast with a blowtorch at your table. It was pretty cool to see.

  • @xcornmuffinx

Flamebroiling a steak with a blowtorch ... now that is a little innovative! Credit to Capcom! It's just another way of branding their product to the masses! Although Capcom has been getting some heat from the media and consumers as of late, they are undeniably still one of the best software companies in the world who have introduced alof of great franchises for us to goggle at!

  • @segagenesis1989 Definitely. Despite the heat that Capcom is taking as of late, they are still one of my favorite developers. Any time Capcom announces something new I'm always interested because I know that there is a better chance than not that the game will be good.

  • wow, i'll have to go there in march.

  • @roleplayerthegamer Are you coming in March? To live or to visit?

  • @xcornmuffinx only visit but the trip isn't finalized yet

  • @roleplayerthegamer Let me know. Depending on the times we could probably hang out.

  • thats really cool ^^ i wished i can go there >-<

  • @JigokuShoujoLuna It's a really cool bar. I'm not sure how long it will be here but if you come to Tokyo definitely check it out!

  • @xcornmuffinx >__< i thought so..i hope the Bar will be there forever ^^ because i dont know when i have the Chance to go to Japan....

    Will you go there again?

  • @JigokuShoujoLuna I think the bar might be temporary. Capcom had some Monster Hunter restaurants before but I think they are gone now.

I'll definitely go again. The food was good and not too expensive. I hope they add different games later.

  • Is this kind of "themed" bar common in Japan? I'm no business man but it seems weird for a software house to open a bar, mainly because I don't think it's going to get them much money. Then again Capcom is probably big enough there to get away with it and maybe even make a franchising out of it :)

  • @Sagentemus Capcom tends to open short term themed restaurants and bars. There were two different Monster Hunter Cafes that opened as well. There are a bunch of other limited game ones that showed up as well including Dragon Quest.

I think this is relatively low risk for Capcom in the sense that it's done in collaboration with Pasela, a karaoke chain that already has the space and facilities ready.

  • Nice video and thanks for showing us :)

  • @RetroGamingRat Thanks, it was a fun video to take.

  • thanks for showing us this thanks man

  • @resfinalgamer No problem! I was going anyway so I figured I'd take a few videos and pics and show everyone this cool game related bar.

  • Looks cool dude.. Would love to have one where I live.

  • @OldSkoolBrian I wonder if they plan to open more of them? It's a collaboration with a karaoke chain so I guess it's possible. Though almost definitely not outside of Japan, which is too bad.

  • it looks alsome man crap it makes me want to go to japan even more

  • @MRcastlevania1 It was a pretty good place! It had a good menu and wasn't too expensive. If you get to Tokyo definitely go!
