Again, unfortunately, your comments show clearly your inexperience regarding being a PROFESSIONAL SINGER..... ALL entertainers of any legitimate caliber MUST rely on technique, or they won't last. And an understanding of proper technique reinforces the natural ability in a positive way, it doesn't detract, as you suggest. Regarding the comments, gender is not the point, appreciation of REAL overall talent is, something you plainly don't understand.

Mr. Tom Jones; One of the Greatest entertainers, a true living Musical legend, power house for decades. Don't hear any pitchy problems in his performance, might be the old taping. Reading the other comments your in the minority with that assessment. Actually, he not shouting, he is using technique with a more belting approach. Since he gives everything with each song in his performances, it understandable he might be tiring, yet, I don't hear anything indicating a diminished performance.
