I think only 4 percent of the Air Force are pilots. You have to have a college degree, have a good gpa, commander rating, afoqt score has to be good, and do good in field training between your soph and junior year if you are in ROTC. Pilot slots are very hard to get. I am currently trying to get one.

@pa7r1ck318 Actually most Pilots are not from the academy anymore, Thats the reason that the USAF is re-evaluating the logic of having a USAFA because its SUPPOSED to train future combat officers and now its mostly technology types graduating. By the sheer numbers, there are more pilots from OTS and ROTC than the Academy every year. And I do believe that the maker of this video realizes that you have to be an officer seeing as he is IN the USAF, as am I. Are you? Because it doesn't sound like it

I believe you can see this on the Air Force website. I even called up embry riddle and the commander told me that it would pay some of it but I would have to come up with the rest.

Well to be honest this is about what I do all day. Deployed or not. I think it is important to let people really know what goes in the the Air Force. (Oh and I think it is also a requirement to own at some point in your carrier a set of those logitech speakers you had in your room, I have mine.
