sparklers. then they do a picture by picture animation, called 'stop motion animation'. im just guessing about the sparklers, its some sort of light. but the animation takes forever to do. this song is kinda gay, but theyre from melbourne, and i love melbourne,so i guess they aint too bad.

I didn't even realize I had this in iTunes - it was in fact the 'Free Single of the Week' in February 2007 (in the US). Then I heard Mr. Tapp on the news (WDAY) playing at that wedding in Fargo, and it sounded kind of familiar. I just searched 'Borne' in iTunes, and there it was - The Guide! Yeah, I have so much music I can't keep track.

Good for him on flying to all the way to Fargo for the couple's special day!

I agree with Keaton - I first bought the album based on this song, but this is actually sadly almost plagiarism - in comparison to "Yellow", it's the same key, same chord structure, roughly the same melody, and even the same lyrical content in the same places (compare 2nd line of first verse "I played you a sweet song and you sang along..." to Yellow's "I came along, I wrote a song for you..." Even though it's a decent song, as a musician it makes me lose a lot of respect for the guy.

If you heard Cameron's demo tapes distributed in the UK before Coldplay was ever heard of, you might ask "has somebody stolen Cameron Tapp's lyrics and style. Copycats walk the fence in the guise of pros. Cam is the next big thing!

If by that you mean it's an excellent, emotionally stirring song, then yes, I agree.

Granted, there are similarities between the two songs, but I can't help feeling that Borne's track easily stands on its own... ermm... two legs. Does that make sense? Whatever, having similarities to another song doesn't stop it being a great song.
