The problem with getting all A's and A*'s is the overconfidence it can bring to you when you do A-levels. A-levels will be much harder than GCSe's and overconfidence doesn't help in a-levels especially. I would prefer to get decent and average results and be motivated to continuing the way i study for exam, rather than getting A's and A*'s and chilling back and only to find out that you missed a grade because of your overconfidence.

I tended to use a mix of revision sites like BBC or S-Cool, revision guides but PAST PAPERS are the best thing to use in my opinion.

GCSE and A2 are really quite simple. My attendance at school was around 33% per anum (complete inability to work efficiently in a school environment) and these kind of results were easily achievable.

I took English Literature, English Language, History, Law and Maths. I took Literature, History and Law onto A2 though because they appealed to me the most.

No wonder you got into your university, I am assuming you got AAAA? Remarkable with those subjects.

Yes the grade offer for Imperial was AAA, but if i didn't get the fourth A I would be questioned in the interview as to why, lol, so its best to get AAAA for me! But seriously , in A-level they just ASK, but at degree they will make you THINK a hell of a lot and ask for PROOFS and DERIVATIONS of formula. This skill can take a long time to develop, which I don't always have as exams are always around the corner!!! ahhh!!! but thats what degrees are for hey?

yh but you can get help from your teachers and parents but exams down to you at the end of the day. im in yr 11 now but we were told you should aim to get the coursework a grade above the predicted one so that theres less pressure in the summer and more likely to fail. so its gd that CW exists in my opinion

Why is it easier to sit an exam? With coursework you're able to take as long as you need and with as many texts as necessary to help you.

I just like to sit down and get it done. Once it's done theres no worries and it brings out the best in me.

With coursework you're going to be taking like 7 subjects at once and all have courswork attached with a ridiculously large percentage attached to it. theres just too much to contemplate and complicate.

It dosn't help when the teachers lose half of you work there storing either... (I'll hate you forever miss payne)

I would have thought so, generally if examiners see your only 1 mark off they'll look really hard for a mark they can give you anywhere (i.e, they'll probably let you have it!)
