The only woman in the world who's closet is at par with imelda marcos, but the big difference is, Nan's closet is LEGALLY AND RIGHTFULLY EARNED, while that if Mrs. Marcos was the result of the SACRIFICES OF THE FILIPINO PEOPLE.

I really like her style. It's extremely 'vintage' yet modern all at once... Nan Kempner was very chic!

Nan Kempner was a straightforward, old world, classy and delightful woman. Her sense of fashion and sense of humor were her trademarks. A fabulous woman, she is dearly missed.

How is she a cautionary tale? She lived to be 75.

Mid-70s might not be "bad", but it was the ciggies that did her in, she died of emphysema.
