  • Sorry, but I LOLed when Coburn said "best health care system in the world" :D

  • Coburn has the nerve to call the American system the best health care system in the world? WAKE UP AMERICA! Our health care is ranked 39th, just after Slovenia. SHAMEFUL!

  • If you're trying to appear trustworthy, certainly don't start with "best healthcare system in the world", lmao

  • candiceevans1 - Is it true anyone can walk into a hospital and get basic care? If I break my leg, can I go into a hospital and get it fixed? Without health insurance?

At the moment I agree with Cenk and this senator is a liar.

  • @mephesh Where I live Kansas if U broke your leg U could go to the hospital and be treated if U don't have insurance. That doesn't mean your treatment will be free, as U will still be liable to pay the bills or at least a portion of them.. The hospitals do write off many unpaid annually.

  • i dont under stand must you pay for medical help in usa

so if i lived in america and i got hit by a car they woud ask for money before they help me

if thats the case then usa is the ONLY western contry in the world with out free helth care

  • no they dont,,,in america no one is EVER TURNED AWAY ,,,EVER! THEY JUST BILL YOU AND THEY DONT MAKE YR CREDIT BAD EITHER FOR MEDICAL,,,THe point here is the bill is not for free healthcare it to mandate all of us to buy insurance under threat of 200,000 dollar fine and jail if u cant pay it,,,we are becoming unemployed and people cant afford it,,,we must refuse to buy their insurance

  • hmmm

so if noone gets turned away ever howcome 45,000 people die every year from preventable diseases in the US?

  • cenk is a moron,,,he fought for something he misunderstood the entire time and now he tries to act like what this senator is saying is somehow moticvated by his being republican,,,no matter if its right cenk only cares about bashing republicans he doesnt care about telling you that this bill is a disaster and will imprision the entire black community

  • this guy is a total liar

  • by this guy I hope you mean cenk,,,see cenk isnt telling you the senator is lying but youve been confused by his hatred of republicans,,,what the senator says is true,,,cenk turns around and points out how bad the bill is dec 22 but yet he tries to act like republicans ruined it this came fr dems making deals w ins. companies

  • SCAREMONGEEEEER!

  • we have the best healthcare system in the world? that's why we have people who aren't covered!

  • I nearly choked from laughing when he said "Best health care system in the world".

  • i hate to tell u this but you are being mislead,,,anyone can go to ANY HOSPITAL AND GET FREE HEALTHCARE,,,I have done it myself when I didnt have insurance,,,,,,this bill forces u to buy their igov ins.you wont be able to keep yr plan unless its with the governement,,,if you dont have ins youll be fined thousands of dollars if u dont pay u go to jail,,,do u think that improves the system? this bill was written by insurance companies i tried to tell cenk this back when it was in the house

  • If that was possible then why would 45.000 people a year die from things that could have been treated? Also Cenk said that he is against the bill now that the the Republicans and Corporatist Democrats have ruined it.

You where half right about one thing though. I can go to any hospital I want and receive free care because I live in a country with a working health care system.

  • How are we gonna get this public option passed????????

  • Good job, Oklahoma! I'm from Texas and I thought we had some dumb fucks in office, but "the best health care system in the world" takes the fucking cake.

  • Coburn and Inhofe are the senators from my state... And I -HATE- them. Literally, they go against EVERYTHING they claim to stand for...

Coburn's medical practice, did not accept patients without insurance. Yeah, way to stand for your Hippocratic oath you piece of shit.

  • this man is a criminal using his medical status to lie to the people what a scumbag sell out to corporate interest ..he is right he has sold his loyalty

  • "destroy the best system in the world".

WHAT?? I have a message for you senator. You are a moron and you are one of the reason why American people will be seen as dumb. Our system is one of the worst imo. It is too costly and you don't even provide anything but fear. Not even one solution. Grayson was right about republican. 5/5

  • lol, government coming between the doctor and the elderly because of this bill. Umm...hello? Medicare is already the government? Dumb asses. What poor excuses they'll use to earn their pathetic attempt of pay offs from the health care industry.

  • This Bill will destroy the best Health Care System in the world? How does it effect France?

  • "When you restrict the ability of the primary caregivers in this country to do what is best for their senior patients, what you are doing is limiting their life expectancy."

OMG, this explains why life expectancy in the United States is higher than that of those socialist single-payer healthcare regimes! -- oh wait. /sarcasm

Seriously, why is it that Republicans' descriptions of the healthcare bill come so remarkably close to describing the current situation with insurance companies?

  • Senior Patients are covered under a Government plan ...

  • I lived in Germany for 9 years and I have to tell you that with the medical care that I had there was MUCH better than it is here. Look at the life expectancy of Europeans as opposed to folks in the states. Hands down, the Europeans have better life expectancy than here.

  • That's the basic way, Republican leaders think. Well, THEY LIED so we SHOULD lie too. Except, although all humans and all policians lie to some extent, it really appears as if GOP leaders lie much much more. Almost constantly in fact. There's a difference between a politician who tries to mostly stick to the facts and do the right thing, but who slips up a little or twists things to look good in a campaign -- than a total sociopath who is only out for himself. Oh, well.

  • YOU LIE!!!

  • What a liar! He is pulling this crap out of his ass to try and scare people into not wanting health care reform. I guarantee you he has not read the bill. He gets his money from the insurance companies and works for them. How can a person be so heartless?

  • I've been seeing a bunch of NASTY ads on the BOOB TUBE coming from the Republicons.... mainly about Medicare. Where's the push-back? Where's the leadership?

  • you know what? let the republicans win, that way, with the space the US left, other countries will get a chance to shine. They might even do a good job at it.

  • All republicans do is lie and this stupid country eats it up.

  • How do these people sleep at night?

  • I think the soft warmth of 100 dollar bills from private health care companies lull them to sleep.

  • You bet-cha!

  • wink wink !!

  • France and Italy Have the best Health care. Not to mention they are a better place to live then the states LOL

  • Tom is the same ass clown who encourage high treason against our president.

Now he is lying and saying seniors will die sooner.

This is an unpatriotic, lying criminal.

  • Yes Tell them Tom. There will be soo many people with insurance that there could be a qeue. Right.

You are a monster, Tom Coburn

  • if (and i mean a BIG IF) this was indeed true what would make this any different from what we already have here in America?!! sorry i'll take my chances on the government telling the doctors what's best for my health, rather than the fucking insurance companies.......

  • tom coburn and paul broun, these two redneck doctor politicians are the biggest lying sacks of shit in congress.

they are essentially telling the american public, that they themselves (the government) can't be trusted. and that their own medical plan, "which is the best in the world", is also the worst in the world...

how do these idiots get elected?

conservative ideology is borderline suicidal insanity.

  • As soon as this guy Said America has the best health care in the world his argument was no longer valid lol

  • Yeah I know. I cant afford health insurance. About a month ago I thought I broke my ankle and I couldnt walk on it. Well, I went to the hospital. I was there for about a half hour. My bill is $1,500 for a half hour trip. WE NEED BETTER HEALTHCARE! And yes, anything he said after the america has the best healthcare comment, I wasnt listening.

  • hahahahahaha, best in the world LOL

  • I think it fair to say, us Canadians live longer then an average American

  • 15,200 people a day losing their insurance! WTF! Are repubs insane? Who in their right mind (who wasn't completely bought off through bribes) would ever support this? If this were car, life, theft, whatever other insurance this would raise a huge stink. I wonder what percentage that 15,200 are republican and if they still support their party after being denied coverage because of the repug party support of the so-called health "insurance" companies.

  • fuck tom coburn. i used to like em but he is such a douche for lieing like that. god damit he is the devil for scaring people like that and that will make the health care bill die and millions will die.

    fuck you tom coburn.

  • I'd rather have the government between me and my physician than a health insurance company. At least the govt. has an interest in keeping you alive. The insurance company doesn't, they've already been paid and the faster you die the less they have to live up to on their side of the bargain.

  • Best healthcare system in the world? LOL!

  • best line.....way to be principle....lol

  • Best health care system in the world?

What was this guy doing during his 25 years in medicine? Besides counting his money, that is.

  • Well, he didn't say for whom it is the best :D

  • both sides use fear, who cares

  • give me an example of democrats using fear mongering.

  • talking about how bernanke is going to eventually lead us to another collapse? even if you believe something to be true you cannot possibly think that the above statement isn't designed to inspire fear? but like I said, who gives a shit. fear mongering doesn't work on anyone with half a brain

  • alright boys, it's been fun, but I'm done for the evening. Hasta luego. ;-)

  • @jb, yeah, trillions to be made...so let's allow the gov't to get some of that action. Did you know that the newly mandated electronic medical records are actually MORE expensive than the current system? The only thing the gov't is good at is wasting money.

@john, I do flex spending and deduct it. So it's really not bad at all.

  • Open up the markets? Surely you jest. Do you actually believe a free market is possible when there are trillions to be made? The way to 'solve' it; That was easy, we should turn our future over to MBAs from Wharton and Chicago.

  • @jb, how did you know I'm receiving my MBA from one of the two ;-)

  • I'm not a right-winger. I'm a moderate. So should the gov't have a say in how you exercise, or eat? Should they have a fat tax? Some slob of a person can not take care of themselves AT ALL, and now we have to foot the bill for their medical problems? How is THAT fair?

  • First of all, nursing staffing is already being rationed in the current corporatist economy because nursing payroll composes a large percentage of hospitals' budgets, and nurses are having to handle larger patient loads and are not being hired as readily. The American Nurses Association supports healthcare reform being proposed in Congress, including the public option. It is curious this senator/MD brings up issues primarily affecting nurses and uses it against their interests

  • It's not fear. @Joey I've discussed this with several Canadians. It's worse for them. Getting into a general doctor--easy. Getting into a specialist--looong waits. You need competition in the markets. Read the facts. You guys claim this is fear mongering, but it isn't. I PROMISE you I know this from many different sides. Please please please read up on this stuff. @Dagorian86, do you want us to be taxed like the French?

  • @delightful - I ll take the french system over yours anyday. This free market i.e. no government intervention status that you think will solve this problem, won't. For example you have 100 companies who provide competitive healthcare. At least one will see the profit potential of reducing that number. Then once it has reduced that number sufficiently, i.e. has gained sufficeint market share, it will crowd out the market...much like starbucks. This was one of my case studies for economics.

  • Starbucks was your case study or healthcare? We studied the healthcare debate in my graduate level economics class. The way to solve it is to open up the markets. I'll see if I can find the main article in my notes. You should find it interesting.

  • The healthcare industry already influences the top levels of government.

Anyone who would try to open up a competing health care industry that is " Fair " would be crushed before it is even off the ground.

That's like saying that if you don't like how the mafia works open up a competing mafia.

People have been killed for much less money, if you think that big insurance companies would sit idly by while a new company stole all their customers and forced them to lose profits you are mistaken

  • ...and that's not fear mongering at all...LMAO.

  • No it's realistic.

Even now they pay millions to influence our congressmen. So it is a fact that they won't sit idly by. A free market would only further empower big insurance, not force their hand.

I mean really do you honestly think they're just going to sit there and watch a new business offer savings to people and cost them trillions in lost profits?

How can you honestly believe that big insurance will play fair with that kind of money at stake? Such a concept is foolish

  • non-emergency treatments can take a while in countries with government-insured healthcare, that is true. But it is available for everyone at no cost. Granted it´s payed by taxes but you are not punished for getting sick, which clearly is the case many times in america. I love how right-wingers use this as an argument though. It´s like you want everything to be perfect or else it´s not worth to try reform. Besides, at least here in sweden you can get private insurance on top of state health

  • LOL! You do know the French have much lower healthcare costs than the US don't you? How do you possibly justify that taxation?

Surely you realize that healthcare insurance is simply taxation without the government. You made a very VERY stupid point.

  • Actually no. Are you from the US? If you open up the markets you can choose your healthcare...so NO it's not anything like taxation. You can choose how much you pay. In fact, you can do that now with some companies' employment benefits. You can choose your healthcare level plan. Secondly, the French pay MUCH MUCH more (overall) in TAXES than we currently do.

  • Of course they have higher overall taxes. LOL! They have a much MUCH larger set of government services than the US.

Add the amount you spend for healthcare to your taxes, and see how they compare then. Do you really not see how you're making an unfair comparison?

  • @delightful You never discussed it with this Canadian. How is it better to be able to see no specialist than wait to see one? You PROMISE? That's easy. I also know the subject of Mongolian yak-herding from many different sides; especially the ys side.

  • You're right JB; I didn't discuss this with [one] Canadian. I discussed this with about 20 Canadians! Secondly, why do you think that opening the markets up to competition will result in not being able to see a specialist? That makes no sense at all. It makes it more affordable to see a specialist.

  • And, truthfully, I watched Michael Moore's film "Sicko". He made a good case--that's what first prompted me to "Ask a Canadian." LOL. It wasn't until I started doing my own research, and better understood economics that I realized how terrible this proposal actually is.

  • obama will legalize all illegals and voila! no illegals will get health care, cuz everyone will be legal, including pedro, his pregnant wife, and their 17 children

  • lol america does not have the best healthcare system in the world . wow .

very knowledgeable senators u guys have there.

  • best healthcare? i thought that was Malta or somewhere....

  • Coburn is not only an ASS, but an INCREDIBLY IGNORANT ASS.

I paid thousands of dollars to Blue Cross but every time I needed some test my Dr had to argue with "The Insurance Company Guy" who'd never seen me & "who came between me & my doctor"

I tried of their sh*t, so as a Veteran I started to go to VA. Now if I think, or my Dr thinks, I need a test - IT'S DONE IN DAYS NOT MONTHS.

IT'S BEEN LIKE NIGHT & DAY!

  • regardless of any policy initiative the BHO administration can propose, that level of fear mongering is disgusting and repugnant to the nth degree.

  • Also, something like one sixth of our economy is based on healthcare. Do you think our gov't really needs THAT much control?

  • I am really starting to question you now. The gov't PRINTS MONEY they already have total control. How can you not know that, or not put that together. Seriously

  • FlatulentFox you think illegals getting health care will only be 1.5% of health care costs? 300 million population - 20 million illegals - 10 million of those illegals are pregnant with 5 children - so you say that though illegals are 7% of the pop, they'll only consume 1.5% of the health care pie - i guess u took liberal economics

  • How can ten million people be pregnant with five children? when in the history of mankind has that ever occured? And didn't you hear that illegals will have no right to any health care under the reid bill? I guess you took moron economics!

  • LOL@him calling the current American health care system the best health care system in the world. That's how I know he must be on crack.

  • This is why I love living in Denmark.

  • ditto for Canada..nice to live in a *civilized* coutry, isn't it? :-)

  • Anyone who says we have the best health care system in the world is a damn liar. A fucking bald faced bullshit lie.

  • Doctors these days have no loyalty! They always overbook patients and make you sit and wait for your appointment that was scheduled over an hour before.

  • these fuckers are on their last leg...

  • People who can afford healthcare don't buy it. Why should MY tax dollars go to provide healthcare to then? This bill is a load of crap.

  • Get used to the idea. Your tax dollars helping people instead of bombing them.

  • Who said I was in favor of bombing anyone? Here's an idea, how about all those in favor of this bill collectively pool their OWN money and give it to the freeloaders.

  • Don't have any.

  • You much have some. Are you on a public access computer? They should just start a charity. Everyone willing to part with their money to support freeloaders can chip in. IF they would lower the premiums for independent healthcare providers more people would buy in. An economist actually did a study on this and it makes the MOST sense.

  • Hey having this kind of health care for all will reduce bankruptcy. That means more consumers consuming, instead of cutting way back because they are broke because they didnt expect to get cancer at age 24. Its a good thing, yes there will be a few free loaders, but the vast majority will be fellow citizens. Be happy that your tax dollars could so some good for your fellow americans.

  • The vast majority of people claiming bankruptcy recently has been because of foreclosed homes--meaning they were living above their means. Out of the three people I know who've battled cancer none of them went bankrupt because of it. Change the bankruptcy laws if you're concerned about that. I know people in the medical industry personally. It's not because they are greedy that they think this is a bad idea. It's because it IS a bad idea. The gov't needs to stay out of medicine.

  • How many people do you know then? You must live in a bubble. I know 2 people who have went bankrupt do to medical bills, and most people dont talk about it. Why do you sit this one out. Let USA join the rest of the civilized world.

  • Then change the bankruptcy laws. We absolutely do NOT need to socialize healthcare. Do you know ANYTHING about economics? They need to open up the market for private insurers. This creates competition and lowers the costs. How many things do you know that the gov't has run well? Let the US join the rest of the civilized world?! Are you kidding me? Have you even BEEN to other countries? I think you're the one who needs to sit down. Come back when you do some research.

  • @delightful - Yes, ideally markets need to be opened up but it is the nature of markets to quickly close themselves. Just some more facts for you. France has very socialised heathcare, i would say about 100 times more socialised than this current weakass bill and it is number 1, yes, number 1 in the world in terms of providing healthcare. Also it costs less than half per capita than the US (who under a private system is ranked 37th). Have you ever been to other countries?? you should try ours

  • When markets close it's because they are being inefficient and aren't competitive. You need a free market.

  • Do you know anything about globalization? It's a global economy. It's not just the US, and capitalism exists without the gov't. Printing money doesn't mean anything,

  • It's not medicine, it's insurance.

  • You don't think your service will be affected? Talk to some Canadians. See how they like it?

  • Service? No. Coverage? Only if I had health the best package of avail. For the people with no insurance at all? Better, still. You point to Canada (which still isn't bad), I point to several other countries. Fear, fear, fear.

  • It doesn't if there is a mandate, or if they get penalized for not signing up when they do sign up. That's how they do it with Medicare part C, so they can do that with the public option. Plus it has premiums anyway.

  • But who will enforce it? How can it be enforced?

  • This topic is so important, its so hard to narrow down what needs to be done, when you have sky rocketing profits and you have a bunch of sick people, it SO difficult to figure out what exactly needs to be DONE here!

Its like SO difficult to imagine how any of this works! On one side you have Politicians being paid by lobbyist who contribute Millions in their campaigns! and on the other YOU have the people WHO pay these Politicians! GOD its to difficult, why did you put me in this society?

  • He's senile.

  • Tom Coburn, MD. LSOS. (Lying Sack Of...)

  • Oh, yeah. I remember this asshole from when he vehemently protested the showing of Schindler's List on broadcast TV back in 97 or 98. He actually believe that the nudity in movie was sexual and gratuitous and that showing the movie on TV unedited was indecent on those grounds.

Leave it up to a sexually repressed fundamentalist Christian to be afraid of getting a boner by watching Schindler's list.

This bastard is a horrible person.

  • be afraid...be very afraid

  • This asshole doesn't realize that the INSURANCE companies are getting in the way of seniors and their Doctors...

  • Sen Coburn - You are a God damned liar and you know it.

  • Is it any coincidence that Cockburn speaks EXACTLY like a preacher?

  • I don't understand why people seem to be so afraid of their government. I encourage any one from the United States to visit another country and be able to witness the miracle of a real health care system. (Looking after the People and not the Bottom Line) I almost lost my finger and a good part of my hand in an accident last year. I was reassured every thing would be fine and soon enough I was back to my old self. All it cost me was $32 for my meds and a few check up visits to the Dr.

  • The fact he is an elected official is shameful.

  • Oh look another member of the GOP lying......

  • the govt isn't efficient at anything, and riddled with corruption and incompetence to boot

  • Yeah! Govt sucks at everything they do! Therefore they should never try to do anything!

    Anarchy in the USA!!!!

    /sarcasm

  • ranked #37 using what criteria? oh, they didn't include those details in the lib handbook

  • Yes they did. You're just being Obtuse....go look it up the grown ups will wait for you to come back, and act like a child some more.

  • World Health Organization, moron. They are non-partisan.

  • megaganon1- WHO was merely reporting the facts. Get over it.

Coburn would have told the truth had he stated that the US has the best health care system for those who have a great health care benefit package like government employees or for those who are rich enough to afford to pay for it.

  • "this bill is going to destroy the best health care system in the world"

strange, the WHO ranked the us at #37, so he must be saying this bill will affect other countries health care systems.

  • if obamas health care takeover passes, you better hope your heart attack is capable of waiting 5 months to be seen by a doctor, because when the government gets between you and your doctor the doctor says "i need this" and the government says "their my property il do with them as i please" so the government will simply let millions die so the liberals can get richer and richer while america suffers and dies, its not fearmongering its something democrats arent familiar with THE TRUTH

  • Seriously?

So let me get this straight....

Your argument is not only a piece of anecdotal evidence, but IMAGINARY anecdotal evidence.... from the future!!

  • really why did my grandfather wait only a single ay for a heart surgery in iceland which is a hard left soclaists anti capitalist country

  • tehant1liberal - my five year old son can make more sense than you.

You are proving to me that a large portion of those who call themselves conservative republicans actually suffer from some form of mental retardation.

  • I'm surprised Republicans are continually allowed to get away with this kind of propaganda. All you need to say again is that it's the public OPTION. If it's so god damn terrible, DON'T BUY INTO IT. I mean after all, if apparently private insurance is so much greater, why don't senior citizens buy into it? Oh wait, cause it blows.

  • I guess the Hippocratic Oath goes by the wayside when you become a Senator.

    First, do no harm

Second, go cash your cheque from the insurance companies.

How do these people sleep at night?

  • they have money to keep them warm

  • I am so glad i'm Canadian

  • Canada did it well and obama want to do it like in Canada...

    Soo yeah.

  • I stood in line for... Oh wait there wasn't a line I went right up to the window, no wait time. I would have used the stamp machine if it wasn't broken... Oh wait it wasn't broken I just didn't see it til after I bought my stamp. Well the person behind the counter had a bad attitude. She kept smiling at me and saying have a good day and happy holidays. See the government can't run anything right. And this was a post office in a VA hospital. My god where do they get off being so efficient.

  • Good job at comparing apples and oranges. Are you kidding me? Do you believe private insurance is more efficient? About 30% of the billions every year lost to our healthcare system is do to malpractice and medical fraud. I hope you dont seriously believe this healthcare system doesnt need reform. Dont even get me started on cases of people getting denied claims, for example rape in one instance was classified as a pre-existing condition. Listen to facts and do a little research.

  • You did not wait 45 minutes in line to buy stamps. Liar.

  • america just sucks apperantly if you ahve to to ait 45 minutes at the post office when it's 2 minutes for me in soclaist communist iceland

  • You can't be serious.

"I had the misfortune of coming to the post office to buy stamps even though many other places sell stamps and the stamp machine was brooookkkeeeennnn waaa waaaa waaaaahhh QQ. I had to WAIT IN LINE and even though there were other people there for other reasons, the long line must've been because THE MACHINE WAS BROKEN WAAAAA WAAAAAAA WAAAAA QQ.... I have no way of knowing, but the reason why it isn't fixed must be because the post office is trying to save money! QQ"

  • We've been fighting for a good healthcare system in this country for decades and it's about time we get a good one. We need one.

Republicans sure don't want what's best for America. Fuckin' traitors!

  • I'm from Germany and here everyone has health care. It doesn't matter how rich or poor you are. When you're sick you're getting taken care of. I can't believe that in a western country like the US they still don't have that and that people are AGAINST IT??! Are the NUTS? stupid conservatives

  • yep they are....people of the world should do a protest, a protest for good people to survive

  • Sadly, even this cartoon simpleton is more informed than the conservatives.

Homer: America's health care system is second only to Japan, Canada, Sweden, Great Britain, well...all of Europe. But you can thank your lucky stars we don't live in Paraguay!

  • "Best Health Care System in the world", ya for those that don't have to give up EVERYTHING to participate in such a great health care system.

"The beginning of Gov. stepping between you and your physician", Like a for profit health care rep is so much better?

"You're going to die sooner"? WE ALREADY DO! US average life span is already BELOW other industrialized nations!

"Rationed care"? Is better then NO care (aside from being complete BS)

  • 10% of americans dont have insurance = no prob

    +

10% of americans dont have jobs = dems/obama fucked everything up!

    =

    health<money

this doesn't add up to me.

  • we are going to rape America at the world cup.

  • "we are going to rape America at the world cup."

    Who cares. Soccer sucks anyways.

  • @Eric8542009

'soccer' is one of the few popular sports played throughout the world unlike baseball which only you play or American football which only you play or basketball which only you play.

  • baseball is popular in japan and mexico I believe. basketball is played in a lot of other countries thats why there is an Olympic event for basketball. football is definitely a american sport.

  • @desurgeon

yes and allot of countries play cricket and rugby but i don't regard them as global sports.

  • I know, lol. If America cared about soccer, we'd win every World Cup.

  • @Eric8542009

    "Soccer sucks anyways"

The rest of the world disagrees with you.

The rest of the world doesn't care much about your sports. I'm not interested enough in them to even be able to say if they suck.

  • NaomiClareNL, The rest of the world does care about our sports, What about baseball or basketball? Those are American sports that are played around the world.

  • baseball around the world? try Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, and parts of Canada, that's about it

  • Dominican Republic as well.

  • Korea, The Dominican republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela.

  • they should allow vulgarity in politics, to spice things up cause its boring

  • If you support healthcare zombie hitler will eat your brains!

  • "Best healthcare system in the world."????

The American healthcare system is a disastrous failure. Americans pay more and live shorter sicker lives tahn most other industiralized nations.

Infant mortality, life expectancy, obesity rates, and on and on. By almost any measure, the American healthcare system is a disatrous failure.

  • Coburn is a lying weasel plain and simple. He's not stupid enough to believe the tripe he's feeding his constituents.

Rationing healthcare.. Is there ANY system in the world that does not ration healthcare? The question is how reasonably is it rationed. Right now in the states it's not reasonable at all. Insurance companies let people die on a daily basis.
