  • thanks, you are a credit to the human race!!! and make looking for Dylan covers on Youtube worthwhile

  • you shame Bob Dylan, shame him.

  • Nice cover ...don't often see girls playing harp! I have just had a bash at the same song. Have a listen if you find time. Keep on keepin' on !

  • eh, i wasn't feeling the tone of the voice. needs some power

  • Wow. Just wow. You are amazing.

  • Your harmonica is flawless! This is awesome! :)

  • The guitar and harmonica sound great! You might want to try singing it in a different key, though...it sounds a little too low for you, maybe? But I'm impressed by your playing. Good job!

  • @Sofi725 hey chocolate hair and searching eyes you nailed this oldie no lie! :)

  • well, I didn't like you performance, beside some wrong notes, if you allow me a tip, don't cover Bob as they usually do, make him your own, forget the original, it doesn't make sense to cover him as a clone, and, check his rendition of this song in 1992, it's o u t s t a n d i n g way better than this old original arrangement, maybe that's more inspiring for you... good luck!

  • Nice!

  • Love this song, can also play it. Like your version better then all the other covers on here of this song, unfortunately cant find the original and I misplaced my CD :(

    But very good!

  • Nice stuff

  • you are so HOT and I love Bob -thus i'm really confused. well stay in touch

  • VERY, VERY cool cover Sofi !! Another stellar job !! Emily

  • Yeeeea! Great! :D

    I like it! Really! :)

  • One o' my favourites!........fun song to sing......bravo

  • Very nice again Sofi. I can see you're going to keep me up late, watching your videos! :-) Did you happen to see Dylan's performance of 'The Times They Are a Changin' at the White House a couple of weeks ago (it's here on YouTube)? It was a wonderful version and I'm sure we'd all love to her you perform it.

    Regards,

    Norman

  • @hisnibs1 Thanks! And yes, I did his performance and thought it was very touching. It's not often we get to see him with an acoustic these days.

  • @Sofi725 Great! Now we're waiting for *your* version. :-)

  • Gal oh gal! pretty good...

  • you're amazing... so close to the original

  • thanks!

  • Sofi, Very good.. 5*'s for sure..

  • Sofi, Very nice... 5*'s

  • great performance

  • great job big bob dylan fan hear. question do you have your mic plugged into an amp or into a computer.. trying to figure best way to record my self i play harmonica. or am learning the harmonica.

  • The mic is plugged first into an ART Tube preamp to give it power and then the signal that comes out of the preamp goes into a USB recording interface (M-Audio Fast Track) that goes directly into my computer. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

  • Great New Mic it even looks professional. Nice song you do a very good Dylan cover.

  • amazing

  • Great performance.

    The mike is working well!

  • Thank you Sofi,

you already know by now that I enjoy every bit of what you do but this is really something else. I didn't expect you to do another Bob Dylan cover so soon after I asked you to. My favourite cover song of yours used to be "Jokerman", now it's "Pretty Peggy-O"! It brings a big smile into my face!

I once offered you to send you a Hohner. I meant it. Just let me know.

It makes me very proud to know you!

  • Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it :-)

  • This is so great....where did you hide Bob and his harp. All in one take...such a great sound.

Proud to be a YT friend

  • wow sofi !! WOW! great everything! looks like a studio mike. beadbird

  • Wow, excellent job, the harmonica and strumming are so crisp! Still think there should be a dance break =)

  • This is really good Sofi. The harmonica works really well in there. What kind is it? I'm glad you're posting more stuff, you get better and better.

  • @gmtruitt9 Thanks George! The harmonica is a Marine Band Special 20. I usually use the regular Marine Band with the wooden comb, but my G harp wore out and they only had the plastic comb special 20's at the store, so I decided to give it a try. It does have a slightly different tone than the wood, but so far it seems to get the job done!

  • congrats for the cover, Sofi!

your new mic looks and sounds great too

    Agustin

  • @agustinamigo Thanks Agustín!

  • OH! My God Sofi!

What a good version of that Dylan's song!

  • Excellent, I love it!

Have you ever played "Man of constant sorrow"? Thats the best track from that album. When I sing it, I replace "Colorado" with "Alberta" which is where I'm from.

  • @zunathanzu Thanks for the comment and yes, I love that track too!

  • wow, wonderful audio,, does this mic cost more than 500 bucks? i want one. i finally found a video that makes me smile a goofy grin from ear to ear, sublime my dear,, way cool,, well if they dont dig you in angel city they are freakin deaf,,, jimmy

  • @jamesraymondsmith Thanks Jimmy! Surprisingly the mic is less than $100! It's the MXL 990 and I had to try it after reading all of the great reviews. I ran it through an ART Tube pre-amp and then into my computer with no other adjustments. So far it seems like a great deal!

  • Sounds great! Good job!!

  • I <3 you

  • CIAO SOFI !
