The guitar and harmonica sound great! You might want to try singing it in a different key, though...it sounds a little too low for you, maybe? But I'm impressed by your playing. Good job!
well, I didn't like you performance, beside some wrong notes, if you allow me a tip, don't cover Bob as they usually do, make him your own, forget the original, it doesn't make sense to cover him as a clone, and, check his rendition of this song in 1992, it's o u t s t a n d i n g way better than this old original arrangement, maybe that's more inspiring for you... good luck!
Love this song, can also play it. Like your version better then all the other covers on here of this song, unfortunately cant find the original and I misplaced my CD :(
Very nice again Sofi. I can see you're going to keep me up late, watching your videos! :-) Did you happen to see Dylan's performance of 'The Times They Are a Changin' at the White House a couple of weeks ago (it's here on YouTube)? It was a wonderful version and I'm sure we'd all love to her you perform it.
great job big bob dylan fan hear. question do you have your mic plugged into an amp or into a computer.. trying to figure best way to record my self i play harmonica. or am learning the harmonica.
The mic is plugged first into an ART Tube preamp to give it power and then the signal that comes out of the preamp goes into a USB recording interface (M-Audio Fast Track) that goes directly into my computer. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
you already know by now that I enjoy every bit of what you do but this is really something else. I didn't expect you to do another Bob Dylan cover so soon after I asked you to. My favourite cover song of yours used to be "Jokerman", now it's "Pretty Peggy-O"! It brings a big smile into my face!
I once offered you to send you a Hohner. I meant it. Just let me know.
@gmtruitt9 Thanks George! The harmonica is a Marine Band Special 20. I usually use the regular Marine Band with the wooden comb, but my G harp wore out and they only had the plastic comb special 20's at the store, so I decided to give it a try. It does have a slightly different tone than the wood, but so far it seems to get the job done!
Have you ever played "Man of constant sorrow"? Thats the best track from that album. When I sing it, I replace "Colorado" with "Alberta" which is where I'm from.
wow, wonderful audio,, does this mic cost more than 500 bucks? i want one. i finally found a video that makes me smile a goofy grin from ear to ear, sublime my dear,, way cool,, well if they dont dig you in angel city they are freakin deaf,,, jimmy
@jamesraymondsmith Thanks Jimmy! Surprisingly the mic is less than $100! It's the MXL 990 and I had to try it after reading all of the great reviews. I ran it through an ART Tube pre-amp and then into my computer with no other adjustments. So far it seems like a great deal!
thanks, you are a credit to the human race!!! and make looking for Dylan covers on Youtube worthwhile

@hisnibs1 Thanks! And yes, I did his performance and thought it was very touching. It's not often we get to see him with an acoustic these days.
