my vms4 doesn't light up when I press on one of the buttons. Does this mapping solve that issue?

U can Map the LEDs with the Outs in the Mapping setup. Its a Little Bit Tricky to Map LEDs. Dont know how this Works exactly.

Hey i have a problem, i did download the RIGHT mapping as the one in your video, but when i import it on traktor, it dosnt do nothing, its an empty list... :/ but when YOU import the mapping it shows you EVERYTHING...(00:46) :/ PLEASE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE....!!!!

@FunkyJustis When I load it, it reacts strange. Both volume channels run on the left middle side at the same time, but the right middle one does individually while raising and lowering the gain. The play button wasn't even working either. It was all odd. Last night when I tried it again, nearly everything on the controls was working fine. The sound card is my number 1 issue to understand right now.

Go into the settings and navigate to your mapping.

Press "Learn" and move the fader, which is apparently occupied twice.

Now you see all programmed mappings that fader marked.

u can assign the crossfader to any channel u like. look at the front of the console.

CFa assign to ur deck A

CFb assign to ur deck B

Das musst du vorn an der Console einstellen. Nehmen wir an du hast Deck A auf MIDILOG1 und Deck B auf MIDILOG 4. Dann musst du vorn folgendes einstellen

CFa Assign: Channel 1

CFb Assign: Channel 4

Wichtig ist auch, dass du auf 8 Out stellst, nicht auf 4 Out. Das ist der Hebel in der Mitte der beiden CF´s

In der Videobeschreibung ist ein Link. Dort kannst du eine .rar Datei runterladen. Diese entpackst du. Darin befindet sich diese "weisse" Datei ;) pack sie dir auf den Desktop oder so. Wenn du sie dann nachher über den Controller Manager importieren willst, navigiere zum Desktop, und Tada!

Ich hab das Mapping mitlerweile etwas andepasst. Werde meins bei Zeiten mal in der Beschreibung verlinken!

Die Soundkarte ist nicht das Optimum aber müsste reichen. 16bit/44.1kHz entspricht CD Qualität, wem das nich reicht der würde auch in der Preiskategorie 800€+ beim Mixer ansetzen!

Habe ca. 20% meiner Library in flac und werd das mal auf ner Teufel Anlage im Vergleich zum Audio 2 DJ (ext. Soundkarte mit 24bit/96kHz) testen. Ich erwarte 0 hörbaren Klangunterschied.

Wollte erst Allen & Heath Xone:DX aber bevor ich 400€ mehr rauswerf schau ich mir den VMS4 mal an :)

Ehm... kann man den Crossfader eigentlich auch wieder einblenden? hab bis jetzt immer Videos ohne gesehen... Noch eine Frage: Wie ist die Qualität der Soundkarte? also ist sie clubtauglich?

Ja, den kannste auch wieder einblenden in den Settings. Weiss jetzt grad nicht unter welchem Reiter. Aber bringt dir beim nem Controller eh nix. Der bewegt sich nicht der Crossfader.

Clubtauglichkeit hab ich noch nicht getestet. Soll aber sehr gut sein fürn Club.
