Bellowhead do today exactly what Fairport Convention did in the 60's and 70's they present folk music in a modern interesting way. I love Folk groups like Fairport convention nd Steeleye span but when you see them live they pale in comparison to Bellowhead.

Never heard of this group till today on Radio 2. This was played and I'm not a folk fan, but this is fantastic. Music to get really wild to. Never heard anyone play like this before. Bit of a kick up the ar*e for traditonal folk music, and exciting to listen to.

They were definitely the best at spanfest. Lots of dancing! The whole weekend was great.

Saw these play at Spanfest 2007, must agree with the last comment, a thoughly entertaining way to end the Friday night, only to be topped by Steeleye on the Saturday night despite the rain!

I was there! Possibly the best live gig I have ever seen and possibly the best band ever, that includes Steeleye!
