And you also let kids run arund like that for weeks? I don't think the paint on the cat will go away in a few days but is just like ordinary hairpaint and stays on a quite long time.
Is there really a problem if these people that want to dye their pets use bio-friendly colours that don't to any harm even if licked off by the animal itself. Cats come in many colours anyway.
How is it cruel? The animal gets love and attention, the colored powder is not harmful to them and they get to show off a bit, not to mention the slow process means a lot of petting and pampering and it's brushed in, something many cats love. Tell me, how on earth is that cruel?
^_^ I'd love to try that someday on my cat, but even though I know the methods, I can never think of a good design that would suit my Snuggles or my old girl Zebra.
The only ones I feel bad for are: The one with the face on it's tail and the one with the bikini... lol I loved the black and white moon ones

Then paint your little kiddies if it's not cruel. Animals are no toys.

Bad example dude. I do facepainting at festivals and as far as I'v seen, kids just yearn to be smudged with colour!
