position the pick so its close to even with your thumb and try diff angle to experiment how to get pinches down.

bout the harmonics bro..jus choke your pick..and when you donw pick jus let it graze your them right after you pick...where pick also has a huge effect on how they sound..jus remember the closer you get to your bridge pickup the higher in pitch they and the harder they are to come out...jus gotta hit that sweet spot on les pauls like ours its usaully bout the halways mark between th pups...but a lil closer to the neck
